Historia
Nephi puts us on notice in his very first sentence that The Book of Mormon was written by temple worshippers and for temple worshippers. He and the other prophets of The Book of Mormon, who called themselves the visionary men and the peaceable followers of Christ, knew and practiced a mystery, an ordinance by which they ascended through the temple and entered into the presence of God. This ordinance was embodied in a dramatic representation of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden and their return to it, in which initiates played the roles of Adam and Eve or their descendants.

Unsealing the Sealed Portion
Revisado: 11-07-24
Compelling and imaginative, Dave demonstrates how the lost art of conceptualization (lost due to literalist fundamentalism) may guide the reader of the Book of Mormon into the depths of the hidden, but true, intent of its authors. Faithful, yet the opposite of dogmatic, this book can make the reader see a new world inhabited by initiates and mystery keepers whose secrets are only now being revealed by the pulling aside of an ancient veil.

Historia
Joseph Smith was a great Christian thinker, a religious revolutionary, and a controversial figure. Of all the things attributed to him, polygamy is one of the most controversial. It is one of the most discussed issues in Mormon history and continues to be the center of on-going controversy and debate. The LDS Church claims that their past practice of plural marriage originated with Joseph. Other branches of early Mormonism, most notably the RLDS, claim that Joseph never taught or practiced anything that even closely resembled polygamy. Evidence suggests that Joseph was doing something. Yet,...

Unafraid and well-informed
Revisado: 11-01-24
A compelling and considerable narrative to contradict the smug and disloyal self-protective facade of the establishment Church and it's self-important apologists, and anti-Mormons alike.
Unlike the long-established unity of smears against Joseph Smith, the author acknowledges her uncertainty of the history due to the altered and self-contradicting historical evidence. So why not entertain the possibility that Joseph is the man he said he was?
it takes guts and profound spiritual insight to go out on such a a limb.

Historia
"Whether by design or by chance," Terryl and Fiona Givens write, "we find ourselves in a universe filled with mystery. We encounter appealing arguments for a Divinity that is a childish projection, for prophets as scheming or deluded imposters, and for scripture as so much fabulous fiction. But there is also compelling evidence that a glorious Divinity presides over the cosmos, that His angels are strangers we have entertained unawares, and that His word and will are made manifest through a sacred canon that is never definitively closed."
