I enjoyed it

It's a good story and i enjoyed it... the spice was good but it was minimal... the narrator was also good if not a little overly dramatic but you get use to it... I'm terrible at giving reviews but the this story is different from allot of others in that magic is dying and fae don't have access to it anymore and war has torn the courts apart and into poverty for most low fae so princess Rayna of the ice court agreed to Wed prince Thane of air to join there to kingdoms for piece but she has plans of vengeance.. it did end on a cliff hanger but book 2 is coming quick so enjoy...

Intelligent comedy and spicy romance

This is way outside my normal interests in books but I decided to try something new...I loved it even tho I'm not anywhere near the type of person to enjoy this topic, I'm a redneck libertarian and cringe at the far left swing of the characters but I can tune that stuff out when the story is good... and it was!! very intelligent and the narrator is fantastic! many times the narrator can make or break an audio book and get performance was excellent...

This book was kinda hard to understand at first it would probably be good to download the file that comes with it but it's totally worth it!! It kicks your ass in all the feels... The FMC goes thru hell and it's hard to keep going at times but stick with it...I loved this book and can't wait for the next one!!

If you know and love FBAA and FAF then you know there is alot of dialog between characters and sometimes it leads to periods of self discovery and maybe slows down the story a bit to much... but you also know that it's going to pay off and this book is no different... it's a little slow but there are many discoveries that carries over to FBAA and some pretty big ones...I enjoyed this book cause I love the series and it's just another piece of the puzzle so don't get caught up in all the negativity and just trust that JLA has ya covered...I loved the book and I can't wait for the next one...Stina Nielson might be the absolute best narrator there is, I love her work

Fucking loved it!!

First of all I don't get any of the criticisms of this book... the narrator was fantastic, the love triangle wasn't, the spice was awesome and probably just the right amount for book one... The story was fantastic! After I write this review I'm gonna start it over and listen again...I love Armentrouts From Blood And Ash and Flesh And Fire series fucking love them and I got the same flutter of emotions from this book as I did those..from laughing to crying to the goosebumps from the fights... so to those who criticize this book you have the right to your opinion but I wonder what it would take to get your approval cause this has 5 stars all the way and can't wait for the next one...

Beautiful just like the rest of the series

Those of you that read the book and were disappointed because it wasn't anything new are morans and aren't paying attention... yes it's a retelling in Cas's pov and it's awesome but there is also new snippets in the current story...some big reveals...I love this book and every blood and ash book...

started off right where book 1 left off... really enjoyed Lana's character building and the fight she has... had a decent amount of spice in it as well... narrator did awesome
