Great read. Good characters, a bit far fetched but I loved the storyline. Performance was also on point by both readers. I always love the male POV.

Great world building

This book went on, and on, and on, and did not deliver a great plot in my opinion. I appreciated the world building despite it being very drawn out, however it took way too long to get to the point. The ending was also very confusing and it felt rushed. The voices sounded a bit robotic and very similar. It was hard to know which character was which. I am hoping the next book will explain a lot more and not be so drawn out.

Didn’t expect that ending but loved it!

This was a wonderful follow up to the first book. Like the first, I couldn’t put it down. I finished in one day. It felt like an emotional roller coaster full of suspense and amazing character development. Love it!

Too much filler

I have loved every book from Ali Hazelwood thus far, and this was to first I’ve disliked. There was too much filler, not enough story line, and the spice was ok. I still love her books and will continue to read, this one was just not for me.

Love the series

In comparison to the previous two books in the series, the story line took too long to develop. It didn’t seem to grab my attention like the first two. It was really a struggle to get through the book in the first 1/2. The last quarter of the book is where I was really into it and felt the storyline and writing to be very captivating. The ending did not disappoint, we’re always left wanting more with so many questions. I loved it! I’m a huge fan of the series and RY and look forward rereading this book again and the rest of the series to come.

Short and Sweet

I couldn’t stop reading! I loved this book and the details onto each character and I also enjoyed all the plot twists. I have not been into a serious this much since throne of glass and I’m here for it! Can’t wait for ONYX!

I loved the build throughout the book to an incredible cliff hanger. It was great to see such detail around building each character and feeling all of their emotions. The romance was an added bonus!

Loved the ending. I felt like it took a while for the storyline to get started. It had a little too much spice and less storyline, still loved it and can’t wait the next blood and ash series book.
