Fluff over substance.
Revisado: 09-06-24
I didn’t expect Emily Dickenson to be only a prop in a self indulgent tale of the author. It was rambling and had far for sex than accomplishments.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

A magical listen
Revisado: 08-06-18
I have seen many people recommend this book and I’m so glad I took their recommendation. I loved the narrator and the way the book unfolded into a new world. This is one of my new favorites that I convinced my husband and son to listen to also.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
This was a great book to fall asleep to. I didn't realize I was downloading a romance and wouldn't get it again.

Brilliant!
Revisado: 07-17-16
I have no criticism at all of this classic. Sissy Spacek brought it to life more than I could have in my own imagination. I loved her drawl and the way she poured herself into each character. Listen to this book.

Lovely glimpseInto a different world
Revisado: 07-17-16
The narrator did an impressive job of making this story come to life. It was initially hard for me to get into as high society of that era is not my world but as I caught up I came to care for the swans and Capote. It wasn't my favorite book ever, but it was a good listen.

Great book, not great listen
Revisado: 07-17-16
I really enjoyed the first three novels and was thrilled to see that the story had been continued. The author did a great job maintaining the original authors story. I did not love listening to this as the plot twists and names were both challenging for me to follow. While I really enjoyed the story, I would have preferred to read this.

I loved listening to the book but by the next day couldn't remember key plot points. It was well narrated but for me, it was the narration and not the story that kept me interested.
