Talks about - if you want fruits you need to plant them. You’ll starve to death before you’ll get any fruits, as any fruit tree grows from 3-4 years - from seed to yielding fruits. This guy is a joke.
Watched too many walking dead and other shows, which does not reflect reality.

Delivery sucks greatly. Good info at times, but the delivery is horrible. BTW, I am NOT talking about “witty” jokes, but the lack of structure and planning.
For ex. - When describing population migration inside US states, he, out of nowhere, started to make an in-depth analysis of his home state, DOWN TO THW FUCKING COUNTY LEVEL MIGRATION.
With all due respect - WHO GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THAT, with Connecticut, not being one of the highest growth states, nor the lowest.

Why not just make an inflow to outflow ratio of population movements that accounts for both natural causes and immigration (both from within US and outside), while indicating replacement levels and going through all the high/low growth states.

Instead you are giving confusing numbers of either only natural growth, only migration, and then even more perverted - only Spanish natural gain to only black migration gain from other states. And only in the end you go about naming the outflow numbers, for each state, which means THAT ALL THESE NUMBERS MEAN FUCK ALL!!

How do you expect readers to calculate all the REAL GROWTH/DECLINE RATIOS, for each state - which is the only thing that matters, in your whole demographic analysis.

WAY too many equations to even follow what he is saying, not talking about comprehending them.
Not fit for an audible format, aside from the highly numerical language, that takes too many equations to say too little. Have one good idea, that permeates the whole book.
PS: Half of the Chapter 3 contains half an hour equation/formula which he reads without any punctuation marks, as if it was a half an hour long sentence.

Average, with couple good ideas. Feeds into the start up scene and would be interesting for beginners.

PS: Author said he never visited a website of one of his venture capital investments for 3 years, but still invested couple hundred grand.

Then he invested in a restaurant business, which is notorious for its non scalability, without substantial CapEx for franchising. After that beer bis, which is overcrowded even in Africa, and on and on.
Luck could not be a strategy.

Good book

Shows what to do (competitive advantage, value proposition, value chain, core market/target audience ), and what not to do ( trade offs, trying to be everything to everyone, without carving a niche).
Also the idea of fitting (fit) - when multiple strategies feed the main one, and substitute; continuation - as indicator of necessary vs unnecessary/ uncore change.
Read it for yourself.

Entertaining, not the right title.

The name of the book and content does not match.
Does not have much on persuasion. More of a storytelling book/ memoir, then an information packed guide on persuasion.
If the title was much clearer on the content, there would be no disappointments.
PS: Have good tips on getting on TV though.

So many mispredictions, it's hard to listen to.
Why would you try to time the market again and again if you failed to do so countlessly.
Where is the "Coming gold bust" of 2015-16, and countless of other things you "predicted".
PS: We are currently 2 weeks from 2020, and recession have not hit us yet.
So, the limo on the Gold Cost of Australia is waiting for you, Harry.

Legit, as Peter Schiff always is.

Here he predicted so many things accurately, it’s unbelievable.
He predicted closing of big box retailers, which happened in 2016-18 (almost 10 years in advance), and also predicted the coming of Trump, as he said that a person that will advocate for restoring of manufacturing industry (as Reagan did) and rise in domestic exports, will rise to power.
This is a MUST read for any investor/ or just any person who cares about his financial future.

Started out with literally pushing his own religious beliefs onto reader, for the sake of the argument (whatever that means). Then rambled on about importance of arguments , etc. , etc. Had nothing of substance to say.
