I love mediterranean food but the dishes I would get always seemed overly complex and impossible to make at home. I was pleasantly surprised how simple most of these recipes were. Once you buy the "staples" of mediterranean cuisine you can really make the dishes at a surprisingly low cost. It's been fun trying to recreate my favorite dishes. I'm definitely no chef, but it's been a fun, tasty learning experience.
