This was amazing! I’m still new when it comes to alien romance & mpreg, but this was done very well. Michael Ferraiuolo narrated and him being one of my absolute favorite narrators, of course this was a done deal for me and he did a phenomenal job..as he always does. Just saying. The book itself was great, lots of heat but the story itself wasn’t drowned out bc of it. Loved the two MCs and I’m hoping for a book two bc I would love for this world to continue, maybe with Ezra getting himself his alien love mate too…maybe a certain Titan….Yes please!

Perfection

So like always Alice Winters did a phenomenal job. This series is a favorite and I have decided Leland is my spirit animal. lol this is my second time reading / listening to this series and that is definitely due not only to the incredible writing and amount of times it’ll have me cackling but also because of Michael Ferraiuolo the magnificent. He is absolutely the best voice actor. This series has solidified that fact for me.

I am slightly disappointed. The story had so much going for it but the world building was lacking a bit. It was like both the character and reader are plopped into this story world with no context. It was as if we were meant to already know about the in and outs of this story’s world but I was left piecing it together the best I could with the scraps I could gather throughout the book. The concept was brilliant but could have been done so much better. I don’t like not finishing a book but there was a time or two where my mind would wander when reading this and I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the series at least not yet. I was expecting a bit more but I still did enjoy the concept of the storyline and characters.

Hmm…
I just…I think…well…huh.
Gosh dang I wanted to like this so much more than I did. I’m on the fence about it. Did I enjoy it? Yes, and it had just enough intrigue to keep me interested till the end, but I felt like something was missing. It had all my normal fave go to’s, but it was lacking something I couldn’t put my finger on. I still enjoyed it, but I’m on the fence if I’ll continue with the series. The thing I was slightly confused about was why was there three narrators? I mean can’t really complain and I’m not bc they are three of my favorite but the story doesn’t call for it, unless it was a duet..maybe. I don’t know. This story just left me wanting so much more.

Too much feels and not all the good kind.

So…I may or may not have mixed feelings about this book..
I liked it but it also made me feel like I didn’t like it so much. If that makes sense. It was almost too angsty for me and a serious slow burn. I went in not knowing much about the synopsis of the story just went off the high recommendations, so I was super excited. And it definitely started out great and continued to be great but just…if you’ve watched “One Day” the movie it kinda has a similar concept just a queer cowboy version with different endings and things in between. And that movie is one of my favorite movies, but reading this—like I said too much angst when I was not wanting much angst. There was just SO MUCH time wasted it was slightly aggravating. Ugh. Gives me heart palpitations and frustration. But seriously it was a good book, more of a mood read I think for me personally but overall heartfelt story. And the narrator kinda became a new fave of mine.

Michael Lesley and Alice Winters?! Yes please! Two of my faves and I was not disappointed. Of course, obviously. My only complaint is that I need a third book asap. I’m just about ready to every single one of Alice’s books and that makes me sad. The book itself is amazing and absolutely hilarious. No surprise there. Literally cackled out loud, I love Alice’s humor on her books. *sigh
I honestly don’t know what else to say except do yourself a favor and read it annnnd every other book by Alice Winters. Just trust me.

Obliterated…completely devoured this series. Couldn’t even stop to write a full review for the other books, could only rate it before I had to go to the next book. Slightly depressed it’s over, hope there will be more and I totally want Cal and Grayson to have their own little book bc yes pls! As always Alice made perfection, laughed, teared up just a tiny bit and just utterly enjoyed every bit of this series. And of course the spice was hot, hot, hot.

MICHAEL LESLEY!!!!!!!

The narration…mwahh chefs kiss as expected from the legendary Michael Lesley. Honestly just the fact that he was the narrator had me buying. The book itself….damn it was good. Funny, addictive, and hella interesting. Damn this book is expensive but you better bet it’s so worth it. Found a new author to love.

Never have I ever loved a series more.

That was a perfect ending.
Everything tied up perfectly, leaving you satisfied and a teeny bit sad it’s over.
West and Eli’s story was perfection in itself but honestly I don’t know what else to say except I absolutely loved this series…like every other book I’ve devoured by Willow Dixon. Amazing like always.
