Historia
After scant days in his “real” world, Thomas Covenant finds himself again summoned to a strange world of magic and Earthpower. There, 40 bitter years have passed, while Lord Foul, immortal enemy of the Land, moves to fulfill his prophecy of doom - his countless minions are already on the march, cutting a devastating swath of destruction across the Land. The Council of Lords find their spells useless, however, now that Foul the Despiser holds the Illearth Stone, the ancient talisman of evil.

Excellent performance of the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant
Revisado: 11-27-24
It has been many years since I first read the first chronicles of Thomas Covenant in my final year of high school. Recommended to me by one of my favorite teachers.
Scott Brick has brought the characters of the initial Chronicles perfectly.
Taking me back to The Land and Covenant’s struggles with leprosy and despite.
Recommended for all have traveled through The Land before and recommended for those who have traveled through Narnia, Middle Earth, The Wheel of Time and other fabulously perilous lands and adventures.

Perhaps the best of the Reece novels
Revisado: 07-09-24
Another tense and action packed James Reece novel.
A number of plot devices and locations were borrowed by the author from authors he read growing up, including Ian Fleming and Tom Clancy.
The hardest part of coming to the end of a Jack Carr novel is waiting a year for the next one.

Historia
The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Doomed. Including the Merry Band of Pirates.

Historia
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

An unexpectedly fun romp!
Revisado: 01-15-24
I’ve been a fan of Craig’s Expeditionary Force series since discovering it a few years ago.
As I was wrapping up the latest in the series this series was recommended and I downloaded the first book to check it out. So damn fun!
A combination of fantasy and scifi that is incredibly fun and enjoyable.
A chosen hero, who doesn’t know what or how to accomplish his poorly understood mission? Check
Talking Dog with the soul of an ancient wizard in him? Check
Ancient knights brought forward through time to support our hero? Check
Djinn stuck in an artifact, hesitant to help anyone and reminiscent of Skippy? Check
A must read for fans of the genre, author and RC Bray!
