Interesting but triggering

The first two sections were difficult for me to get through but with it to get to the third section. I'm fascinated by the man's work and his deductions.

Love the mash up of DC and Sandman characters. This was my first time experiencing the Sandman series. The first 2/3 was incredible!! I found myself drifting off the last 1/3.

I'm so annoyed I listened to the whole thing

With so many amazing books out there I can't believe I wasted my time on this one.
The author's use of metaphors and similes was EXHAUSTING (like a child crying through the night... see what I did there).
And this may be weird feedback, but I couldn't get into the person reading the story. I didn't but her as the character. That sounds strange, I know. She sounded more like someone who should read a female detective novel. That's one hundred percent my opinion based on nothing other than how her voice made me feel. Bottom line, I'm glad it's over.

People laughed at me when I said I wanted to listen to this because they didn't think it would be understandable or relatable. I love Star Wars. I enjoy Shakespeare. So, why not?! Great job with staying true to the movies while bringing the story to life through Shakespearean style. At one point I commented to myself how whiny C3P0 and Luke sounded, then I realized, THEY WERE LIKE THAT IN THE MOVIE TOO! LOL
The voices are great. Easy to follow. Nice sounds effects. Artoo made me chuckle. Love the inner monologue of the characters. Can't wait to start the next one!

I had no idea about most of the topics discussed in this series. Honestly, I wanted more depth on some topics but the high level overview was enough to get me interested. The short chapters made it easy to listen while driving.
