Entertaining and educational
Revisado: 01-07-23
Lots of details make it easy to feel like You Are there with the protagonist. Author drops kernels of prepping knowledge throughout while it still sounds like a story.
Please advertise which number in the series is each book. I can’t tell from any description I can see.

Historia
There’s no such thing as the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Awakened after being cryogenically frozen for 40 years, Phillip Rolfe, a death row inmate, is cleared of his wife’s murder by The Mechanical Magistrate, an infallible piece of machinery that has replaced juries and judges. There is also someone who has replaced God - Dr. Jalen Walker, the megalomaniacal inventor of The Mechanical Magistrate. Dr. Walker controls every aspect of life in the compound he has created, using a zero-tolerance policy to ensure compliance to his will.

Timely story
Revisado: 04-28-21
This is the second book by this author I have read and I’ll look for another.
The story dovetails well with the COVID pandemic. The writer is creative in generating a story line but I was left wanting more of it. It felt like he could have done more with the story lines. I wanted it to continue but it seemed to me that it ended rather abruptly. On the other hand, I’ve read books that should’ve ended much sooner and I suppose some want a book that is a short story.
The reader did a good job with voices and read smoothly so it didn’t sound like he was reading.

Clever and entertaining
Revisado: 04-18-21
This was a relatively short and easy read. I found the premise to be creative and the story to be entertaining. In audiobook form, It was difficult at the end to keep the characters straight so you need to be pay attention to who is who in the zoo. I liked how the author brought the various story lines together at the end. I’m going to look for more books by Greg Hansen.
