Historia
On a flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that’s going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he’s sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché. But their game turns a little darker when Ted jokes that he could kill Miranda....

I couldn’t stop listening
Revisado: 05-10-22
Lots of twists with great character development. The actors were believable and easy to listen to. The alternating points of view kept things fresh throughout.

Fun payoff
Revisado: 04-20-21
You had to know the end was going to be great with the boring dullness of the character. It was delivered perfectly by Mr. Fouhey.

Fantastic ending after a gripping and steady build up. The people reviewing this book who didn’t finish it shouldn’t be trusted. Good performance by the narrator. 10/10 would recommend.

Historia
In August of 1914, the British ship Endurance set sail for the South Atlantic. In October 1915, still half a continent away from its intended base, the ship was trapped, then crushed in the ice. For five months, Sir Ernest Shackleton and his men, drifting on ice packs, were castaways in one of the most savage regions of the world. Lansing describes how the men survived a 1,000-mile voyage in an open boat across the stormiest ocean on the globe and an overland trek through forbidding glaciers and mountains.
