Prince Harry narrated his book as if we were able to listen in on his cognitive therapy session. Having spent years in therapy myself, it felt like I recognized his self discoveries as he wrote the book. I suspected that he was vilified unfairly by the press, but I wasn't aware that displays of affection within his family were unseemly. No wonder Diana is such a painful memory, because my impression has always been that she was very affectionate to her children and that was unacceptable as royal behavior. I cried many years from beginning to end. I hope his father and brother read this book and all of the reviews, This man is not confused...they are too shelttered.

The Last Chapter Ruined the Trilogy

This was a wonderful trilogy up until the last chapter. Then it was like somebody told the author to "wrap it up in a hundred words or less." It reads like the publisher handed it to a seventh grader to dictate that last hundred words, not at all like Orson Scott Card.

A Fun Oliver Twist Sequel

I love that this Audible Original dares to take on Dickens' Oliver Twist later in his life. The book left me hungry for another sequel!

Captivating Listen

I almost gave this book a pass because the author sounded pompous in the beginning of the book and it was hard to listen. HANG IN THERE! The great characters, action, and drama are all there, and they're done well. The author even included a pleasant surprise to add to the excitement. Is it superstition or a lost common tradition? You decide.

Excellent Mystery

Great twists and turns. The characters are well-developed and perfectly set up to start an on-going series so I immediately checked and found there is one. I'm starting the second book right away. The only problem with this book goes to the sound engineers. The volume isn't continuous throughout and it disrupted my immersion.

Masterful Plot Twists in this Whodonit

I correctly guessed what I thought was the major piece of the puzzle early in the book. I was in for a great surprise because this was only a piece of the puzzle. There was still the rest of the puzzle to be solved, and it was a great listen to get through all of the twists in the plot to find those other pieces.

I almost didn't listen because the introduction by the hosts was too long and not that funny. Then the individual personal accounts began and it became a listen you don't want to miss. They are very personal, and some will make you explode into laughter, while others may make you cry. It is well worth listening to. I wish I could take just the tip off the star for performance.

George Guidall digress it again!!!!!

The Mitch Rapp series rocks--no book in this Vince Flynn series has failed to keep my heart pumping. I don't think George Guidall narrations could fall to receive Performance ratings below 5 stars, no matter what he reads. He is the greatest!

What does Jeff Gurner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Jeff Gurner pulls you right into each character and the action, right down to a not-so-real giggle. That voice and giggle were beyond anything I would have imagined reading the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book kept my heart pumping, anxious to hear what would come next.

Patrick Lee has earned a place on my short list of authors I will search for new titles. Kudos Mr. Lee!
