I’m not opposed to AI generated content, but at some point it’s just not worth my time. It started out by explaining binary—okay, I guess that’s fine, though honestly beginners don’t really need to know that. But when it started telling me a story about a little girl who learned how to write her name in binary as a fun exercise and then was soon using it to talk to computers, I decided not to keep wasting my time.

Completely Useless for a Beginner

It’s clear nobody actually reviewed this after passing it through an AI narrator. It references things for which it makes no attempt to read in audio format. It completely ignores what would be useful in reading aloud Java syntax. Occasionally it made noises that reminded me of a horse… I’m honestly not sure what it was trying to read at those parts.
The reason I’m not giving it one star is because it could be helpful for people who have already gained this knowledge elsewhere and are just looking for a general refresher on some basic concepts. There’s no way anybody completely new to Java would get much out of this though.
