Truly enjoyed this book, narration included. The characters were engaging and the story line a delightful twist on the alien idea. Well worth the credits.

I rarely write a review anymore, but have to with this one. The many twists in the story line and ending make it well worth the money. I enjoyed how it took so long for me to understand where the plot was leading. I would recommend it to anyone.

It is nice to see this extended tale growing with hope in the midst of betrayal and sorrow. As always it seems too short, or maybe I carved my day to listen too much. Again very pleased with narration that really brigs it to life.

This was a wonderful book. I have already purchased the next two in the series. The narration was excellent and the plot and sub-plots engaging. I almost listened to in one day. While it could be a little preachy regarding environmental issues, it still was fascinating as it had the deep state and aliens, and everything in-between involved. Well worth the credit.

Once again Martin has be wrapped around a great book. What an original idea/spin on the vampire style. The narration was wonderful as well. I will listen to this book again.

The only problem with the Jack Reacher series is that it takes too long between books. And of course Dick Hill added that special touch with his great narration. Even if this was the first of the Reacher series you listen to, it will be a joy!

The premise of the story is fascinating and the facts included also kept my attention, but - this has to be one the worst narrations I have listened to. Just that I made it through the whole book tells you how much I liked it, yet this author needs to let someone else do the narration; and the horribly distracting sound effects need to be tossed. Despite the negatives, I will probably listen to this book again as I enjoyed the story line and some of the characters.

outstanding!

This was a wonderful listen. I could relate to Adam's addictions and by the grace of God recovery for a higher calling. The ending is heart wrenching for number of reasons: the story line itself made you feel as if Adam became a friend, the narration was excellent, and of course the death of someone putting their life on the line for my freedom always brings me to tears. I can't recommend this book strongly enough.

story draws you into experiencing it

Truly a wonderful experience listening to this book. His style of painting a verbal picture that puts you the center of the scene is astounding. Of course Patton's narration adds a great deal to the listen as well. Needless to say I am hooked and will be listening to more books in the series.

This was a fascinating book on many levels, but was disappointing that the author left a glaring story line unexplored because it isn't politically correct. Yet, I would recommend this book to anyone.
