Overall the story was pretty good. I didn’t enjoy the way the MMC was abusive towards MFC. He used sex to deal with his anger. It wasn’t BDSM, it was pure poor emotional control. MMC was unable to process his emotions without beating on someone.

I could not suspend logic enough for this one. Skimmed the majority. He cheated entire relationship and used being sex addict as excuse? Read many cheating books that I loved, not this one. Had 3 kids and was sooo selfish. Irredeemable MMC who worried about what FMC did while separated/divorced. Then became a teacher. WTG Perpetuate the stereotypes about teachers and athletes. Never again will read anything by this author.

First the seemingly diagnostic mental health terms were incorrect in the way they were used. Don’t want to spoil, but it isn’t that simple. Used as excuse for terrible behavior. Harmfully misleading to general audience. Someone didn’t do their homework.
Grovel no where near sufficient for level of betrayal. So to me MMC never redeemed himself.
Narration was excellent.

Overall worth the credit but a bit confusing with all the time jumping. Escape type reading not a literary masterpiece. Some great plot twists. Ending needs more or an epilogue or a second book to tie up some speculation and loose ends. Very much based around revenge - and not just scorned love interest. Themes can be pondered and related to today’s world - could go down rabbit hole with this one in regard to what we would do for those we love. Definitely will read more of the author’s books as I’m at a point in my life where my life has enough senseless drama and reading is my escape. Definitely worth a credit.
Narration was very good. I believe this one is AI (?) Honestly couldn’t tell…

Great rollercoaster of a story. FMC finds her worth thru a roller coaster of a story. FMC has spine and family loyalty. Wish MMC was a little more Alpha during certain parts… and his grovel was ok, maybe better than most (but we all know good grovel is hard to find) Overall storyline was excellent! Narration was also superb.
