Historia
The Traitor Host of Horus Lupercal tightens its iron grip on the Palace of Terra, and one by one the walls and bastions begin to crumple and collapse. Rogal Dorn, Praetorian of Terra, redoubles his efforts to keep the relentless enemy at bay, but his forces are vastly outnumbered and hopelessly outgunned. Dorn simply cannot defend everything. Any chance of survival now requires sacrifice, but what battles dare he lose so that others can be won? Is there one tactical stroke, one crucial combat, that could turn the tide forever and win the war outright?

Love it!
Revisado: 10-20-22
This one is a great listen, no story spoilers here, the transition of narration from Jonathan Keeble to Emma Gregory is spine chilling and welcomed. Emma's character is protrayed with perfection, accentuating Jonathans (always) epic performance.
I love it!

There are no Wolves on Fenris...
Revisado: 11-04-21
After listening to A Thousand Sons, I wasn't the biggest fan of the Space Wolves. Following it up with this, going in I got lost in the early parts of the book and lost the thread of what was going on and stopped listening to it.
I moved in to something else, bit whilst doing so, I read up on the Lore of the Space Wolves and came back to this book and started again.
With more knowledge and appreciation of the Vlka Fenryka I was quickly lost in this work of art. An absolute must listen for any fan of the Space Wolves or even the Thousand Sons...
highly recommend 👌🏼

Historia
With news of Horus' treachery spreading across the galaxy, the Great Crusade grinds to a halt as the primarchs and their Legions decide where their loyalty lies - with the Emperor or with the rebel Warmaster. The Dark Angels, too, face a time of testing, both among the stars and on their home world, Caliban. Luther, once Lion El'Jonson's trusted second-in-command, now languishes as an exile in all but name while his master struggles to thwart the traitors' advance upon the forge world Diamat.

Historia
As the Horus Heresy rages and the death toll rises, one more will be added to the numberless dead: Sibel Niasta, personal astropath to the First Lord of the Imperium, Malcador the Sigillite. As her end approaches, Malcador sits vigil by her bedside, and the pair discuss their friendship and what it means - how the past and present have shaped Malcador and the Imperium, and what the future holds.

Anyone who has ever read or listened to a 40k novel, showed an inkling of interest in the 40k Universe needs to hear this story.
Great voice acting, Jonathan Keeble's narration is second to none as always.

Censured at the Council of Nikaea for his flagrant use of sorcery, Magnus the Red and his Thousand Sons Legion retreat to their homeworld of Prospero to continue their use of the arcane arts in secret. Outstanding!
Revisado: 05-20-21
One of the best, yet sadest, stories of the 41st Millennium. The Narrator gets a bad rap in a lot of the reviews on here. In my opinion he is one of the best! He is different, I'll grant that, but the sooner that the listener realizes that he is not Toby Longworth or Jonathan Keeble the quicker you can move on and enjoy the incredible journey that Martyn Ellis takes us on. Martyn portrays emotion and tension at all the right times and sucks the listener into the amazing world of Magnus the Red and his beloved Thousand Sons.
A must buy! You won't regret it.
