Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Extraordinarily Insightful and Delightful
Revisado: 08-02-24
Prior to listening to this book I didn’t liken myself to be much of a Royal enthusiast. I've held a modicum level of interest in the Royal family as a whole. If anything, I'd say I've always favored Princess Diana, Fergie and Prince Harry over the whole tribe. But this impeccably written and performed book has sparked a greater level of interest in and carved out a softness for the Royals, and it has also catapulted my fondness for Prince Harry. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Harry invites you in for an upclose and unfiltered view of his life growing up Royal after the death of his mother. It's so personal and honest. It's both humorous and heartbreaking at times, but most of all it's interesting and delightful. I had no idea Harry is such a brilliant writer. I highly recommend this book, it's Brilliant!

Not as bad as the rating
Revisado: 04-04-24
I actually enjoyed the story although it was corny and preachy at times. The greatest negative about this selection is definitely the use of virtual narration. The virtual narration is bad, it made it difficult to listen too. I was barely able to commit to finishing book. There's a complete absence of emotion, inflection and at times it was challenging to distinguish which character in the story was speaking since there's no attempt to give the characters different sounding voices. Aside from that, the story wasn't bad.

Not my favorite Grisham story
Revisado: 01-23-24
Well written, just not one of my favorites from John Grisham. In my useless opinion, the book was disjointed from beginning to the end, and the story seemed unnecessary or just kinda irrelevant. However, it will not dissuade me from reading everything released by this author. He's still one of my favorites.

It's worth the read
Revisado: 01-12-23
This is a pretty good Whodunit book, and the characters are interesting. I wouldn't say it's very original or unique, and it's a little predictable. But it's very well written, fun and interesting. Also, the narrator does a good job telling the story.

Superbly written and told
Revisado: 07-06-22
Grisham's range for storytelling is remarkable. I've read every one of his works that I'm aware of and I've never been anything less than well pleased. Sooley is a vast departure from his primary legal themed books, and it is sooo good. This book will take you on a journey that's well worth the trip. There's some eye-opening and difficult content about the atrocities so many Africans endure in South Sudan. But the essence of this page-turner book is a feel good story. I absolutely love it.
