Historia
From trade to technology to military might, competition between the United States and China dominates the foreign policy landscape. But this battle for global influence is also playing out in a strange and unexpected arena: the movies. The film industry, Wall Street Journal reporter Erich Schwartzel explains, is the latest battleground in the tense and complex rivalry between these two world powers. In recent decades, as China has grown into a giant of the international economy, it has become a crucial source of revenue for the American film industry.

This explains so much!

This is a very informative book that reads as if tons of research went into it.
It also opened my eyes to the workings and real desires of Hollywood, and has forever changed the way I will view movies in the future. Great listen!

Top Notch!
Revisado: 12-28-20
Forgotten TV is one of the best podcasts out there. And if you have a nostalgia addiction like I do, then you will certainly agree with me.
Indeed, like all of his others, this latest podcast from Mr. Cooling is as quality as you can get. Covering Automan, another classic from the early 80s, I was so completely enthralled by the information given, that I have decided to invest in an Automan dvd set of my own. This is nothing new, as most of the Forgotten podcasts have either renewed my interests in these classics, or inspired me to look into those that I missed the first time around.
I can’t recommend this podcast enough!

Historia
In The Madness of Crowds Douglas Murray investigates the dangers of ‘woke’ culture and the rise of identity politics. In lively, razor-sharp prose he examines the most controversial issues of our moment: sexuality, gender, technology and race, with interludes on the Marxist foundations of ‘wokeness’, the impact of tech and how, in an increasingly online culture, we must relearn the ability to forgive.

Well Thought Out

This book was awesome and had me captivated from beginning to end.
It also gave me a better understanding of what we all are trying to deal with in modern times.
Indeed, the author has done a great amount of research, and at times, handed me some very informative and useful history lessons. And, although I didn’t come into this book angry, or walk away from it angry, I did close it feeling a great sense of relief knowing that there are indeed others that can see the dangers of where we are headed as a society.
Excellent work, Douglas Murray, I highly recommend your book.
