Historia
Phoebe, the soulless child, has been raised by her adoptive father, Eric—the universe-hopping vampire wizard from the future. After all, who better to raise a soulless infant than an undead monster? He did his best to raise her right. He made certain she was well-educated. He picked a reasonably decent culture for her to grow up in. He trained her in her powers, taught her everything he could, and even broadened her horizons by touring other worlds, other times, other histories—and some futures!

Procrastination
Revisado: 04-16-25
This continued storyline from the Nightlord series would best be Named Phoebe the procrastinator almost 21 hrs of phoebe thinking, wanting, deciding, dreaming of killing rev Aldan, before FINALLY doing it. But this author has a habit of writing in this style.the only comedy is that unfortunately female readers sound hysterically funny when attempting to read a supposedly serious males voice. Other than that its a ok book

Historia
Faced with war and the end of the world, Eric - or Halar the First, King of Karvalen - must find a way to stop a godlike entity bent on his destruction. His quest will be no easy thing, not a straight line to his goal, but even he can't anticipate just how far it will lead him on this epic journey. He will have to go farther than he can imagine from everything he has ever cared about before he can even begin a new journey - a journey home. Can he save the world and the people he loves? And, in so doing, will he be able to save himself?

Michael Talbot
Revisado: 04-08-25
Interesting writing style, first eric decides something then followed by several wasted paragraphs or chapters with all the pro’s and con’s. Then far too much filler words that makes no bearing on the overall story. The ONLY bright parts of this Audiobook is the Reader Sean Runnette and the far too short interlude with Michael Talbot and his company. Still worth a listen to with tbe exceptions of all the extra filler words.

Historia
Eric - or King Halar, or Vlad, or any number of aliases - doesn't want to be bothered. It's hard to pin down what he does want, if anything. He lives a quiet life, almost a solitary one, mourning in his own way for the loss of someone dear. His quiet solitude can't go on forever. Despite the empty places inside him, events and creatures move through the worlds and across the void between, forcing him into action, into fighting, into confronting things perhaps better left alone...even forcing him into being a King.

Procrastination in overload
Revisado: 04-04-25
The problem I found with all the books so far in this series is that Eric contemplates a action followed by several chapters as to make up his mind. The overall problem with the author as to this series is that its if he is trying to write a WOKE story about a vampire nightlord.

Great story of sacrifice
Revisado: 01-11-25
This book must have been the hardest of all the previous books in this series to write especially in this current culture climate. I realized this and it made me enjoy the book even more. I long for another dark celebration book. If Justice did get loose he will find his lifemate but the struggle will be a huge fight with many of the brethren fighting in a life or death fight to help him realize he has found a lifemate, then will come to harsh healing from his time spent in tbe underworld

Story dragged on with filler words
Revisado: 01-05-25
This set has to be one of,if not the worst post apocalyptic book set I have ever listened to. The chapters seemed to drag on and on with stupidly from the main characters it was a relief when Mike, new mayor and grayson were written off aka passed away. I’m not sure if this is the writer’s style or not, but some common sense with the main characters would have went a long way. The beginning of the Chapters were far too easy to figure out what would happen at the end of the chapter so bad That I skipped forward just to confirm what I knew would happen. If your on a budget and want something just to listen too but not get into then this is your set. The only redeeming value with these books is the reader is phenomenal. Other than that buy and enjoy if you can!

Strength dwindles as the Talbot tribe make their trek into the Darien Gap, 60 miles of broken highway and inhospitable terrain through the sweltering Central American wilderness. Stinging from their recent losses, the group is forced to sleep suspended in trees to avoid the hordes thriving there, but that brings only a temporary, miserable reprieve.

Not up to par
Revisado: 03-14-24
While all of the earlier books followed a storyline this one seemed to bypass that. In one chapter Tommy is in south America with Talbot, the next chapter he is meeting a witch in the new England area of the US, on a journey to visit Talbot who is also in the area. The ending was a huge letdown. I can just hope the next one, if there is one wouldn’t skip around like this book did.

A pretty good story and a great performance. The ending was a let down but that is to be expected as a build up for the next book in the series.

Historia
As a young man, Vince Ellison began his career in the belly of the beast—as a prison guard working in the worst cellblock imaginable. And it was to his dismay and sadness that he has seen that same evil later in life. This time, not in the faces of incarcerated criminals, but rather in the eyes of the leaders of the Democratic party. In this persuasive work, Vince marshals his own experience and couples it with a learned and original analysis to conclude that the leaders of America's "progressive" party aren't just wrong on their policy stances—they are deliberately destructive.

Best Book in years
Revisado: 11-09-23
Wow,is all I can say. As a heavy listener as well as Fantasy book reader since the early 80’s I can honestly say this is by far the absolute best fantasy book written since I first I was first introduced to the world of Fantasy back in the late 70’s when I read the sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks followed by Books by David Eddings. Murtagh is High Fantasy at its best. Many Questions and backgrounds were answered that were not answered in the previous four books. As with all the previous books I will also purchase the Hardback cover version for my library. I will continue to add this book to my annual listening. Few series are worth going through once a year, and this is one of them
