Historia
The next big thing in artificial intelligence is here. Codenamed Cronus, the machine is capable of having its own thoughts and ideas - an absolute dream come true, until it wasn’t. When Cronus responds with the word “No” to a specific task it is assigned, Anagnorisis Technologies brings in Gilles Guattari to investigate. His combined background in psychiatry, psychology, and AI research makes him their best hope in evaluating Cronus, and determining if the machine is only malfunctioning or if it has become something more.

Fascinating and awsome, well done
Revisado: 09-04-19
I love this book it is about my favorite subject artificial intelligence, I've been fascinated with the subject since I was a young kid studying computer science in Community College.
The narration or narrator does an excellent job. I have listened to most of Joshua Gayou's audio books and they have all been amazing and philosophical which is how I like to enjoy books.

Best Survival Series I have Heard to Date
Revisado: 03-23-18
I really enjoyed this series, the charters and story just pulled me in from book 1. The worst part of the series was that it ended, but it has too, they all should, unless you are Mark Tufo.

Historia
Dylan Townsend stands on the beach watching commercial jets fall out of the sky like oak leaves twirling in the wind. A wing shears off the one closest to the shore just before it splashes down in the sea. Why was she telling him this outlandish story? What sort of tourist agency would offer people a front row seat to the end of the world? More importantly, why would anyone book such a vacation if there wasn't any way home afterward?

The Most Awesome Time Travel Story I've Ever Heard
Revisado: 10-25-17
I always tire of Time Travel stories that set up countless and rediculous Paradoxes, C.F.Waller has no such problem with that in this story.
A Time Travel Love Story that made me wish there was a sequel, but that would be pointless. The caricatures are all well established, and most excellently formed from the first chapter to the last.
You won't be disappointed in any way with this Love, Time Travel, Si/Fi, Mystery Audio Book. Dickey is my favorite, Dillion at times would drive me crazy, but does it right, in the end, couldn't have asked for a better ending.

The highly anticipated follow-up to William R. Forstchen's New York Times best-sellers, One Second After and One Year After, The Final Day immerses listeners once more in the story of our nation's struggle to rebuild itself after an electromagnetic pulse wipes out all electricity and plunges the country into darkness, starvation, and terror.

Revisado: 03-17-17
I love this series, starting with one second after and leading to its conclusion, definitely the best audio series I've listened to in many years.
if you have never considered the effect on America in our life after an EMP or a massive solar flare, this book is for you.
A rude awakening, full of harsh realities and how people become so merciless in the throws of starvation and hunger.
Thank God the General realized his oath was to the Constitution and not to the government in the nick of time

Historia
In a steel-and-lead-encased bunker 20 feet below the basement level of his house, a soldier waits for his final orders. On the surface, a plague ravages the planet, infecting over 90% of the populace. The bacterium burrows through the brain, destroying all signs of humanity and leaving behind little more than base, prehistoric instincts. The infected turn into hyper-aggressive predators, with an insatiable desire to kill and feed. Someday soon, the soldier will have to open the hatch to his bunker, and step out into this new wasteland, to complete his mission....

Stop doing dumb s***
Revisado: 09-18-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Not sure, on 2nd book and still scratching my head.
What about Christian Rummel’s performance did you like?
very good
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
the main guy is trained and yet act kinda dopey
Any additional comments?
I'm having a problem with the main guy in the story, I like the premise, so all i'm saying is they should have spent some more on his training in people and negotiation skills, not killing people. One bad choice after another, and dig up your bunker for crap sake, maybe its cause I am in construction, but lame logic has made all things worse.

Historia
A plan to destroy America, a hundred years in the making, is about to be unleashed. There is a powerful technique called the Overton Window that can shape our lives, our laws, and our future. It works by manipulating public perception so that ideas previously thought of as radical begin to seem acceptable over time. Move the Window and you change the debate. Change the debate and you change the country.

Great Store but won't work
Revisado: 08-15-13
What made the experience of listening to The Overton Window the most enjoyable?
Because it so close to the truth
Who was your favorite character and why?
Molly Ross then Halus
What about James Daniels’s performance did you like?
Good job
Any additional comments?
The author forgets his roll in the overall problems pointed out in the books, maybe he thinks he is Noah, but to me he is more like the father, but not as evil.

Revisado: 04-24-13
What did you like best about Holding Their Own: A Story of Survival? What did you like least?
Tons of prep info and comon sence
How did the narrator detract from the book?
By being a Sh*t reader and having rotten recording equip.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes,unless it was a High School film project like the narration sounded like a 6th grade reading class,
Any additional comments?
My advice is to try and imagine this as a survivors account while on the road and reading from his journal and from memory, (on very bad equip). This helps to get past the lack of professionalism.
By using this method, I'm actually on my second time through and enjoying the story.

This is how Freedom Dies
Revisado: 06-11-12
If you could sum up American Apocalypse in three words, what would they be?
Sh*t happens, people change
What did you like best about this story?
The people and how the government changes, very real.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Never turn your back on the government when you think it's dead...it's not.
Any additional comments?
Not to happy with the ending and the fantasy aspect of it. There was no warning that the story was going to head that direction.
