Couldn't Finish It

First of all, let me say that I read a lot of what I call murder and mayhem style books. I found the narrator 's voice annoying and almost an AI kind of feel. there was a lot of graphic details which are fine but they didn't really add anything to the story. I never finished the book and I almost always finished the book.

Short but excellent

this was a shorter book than I'm used to listening to. But I enjoyed it anyway because I liked the story of Lee as well as the details and information about orphan train riders. I believe that my great-grandfather might have been a British Home Child and so I'm always fascinated by these stories.

murder and genetic genealogy what could be a better combination. I also like the fact that the author really researched his stuff and the DNA information was accurate. Steven Webber does an excellent job of doing the voice of Hester. I love the character Hester, she often says things that make me chuckle

This novel had lots of twists and turns. The story started off slow as the author set the stage and introduced us to the characters.

What did you love best about Between Two Worlds?

This book felt like we were just having a conversation. I look forward to future books and would love to see him in person.

What did you like best about this story?

As I said it was just like he and I were chatting and he was bringing me up to speed about who he was and what he does. I loved that his parents were so supportive.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I was listening to this on the road to Canada from Phoenix so it was easy to just start it and listen until my next break. As I said earlier I listened to it twice just to be sure I got everything out of it and didn't miss anything.

W. Bruce Cameron has done it again

Again another great listen. Excellent interpretation of a dog's perspective. The narration brought considerable emotional content to the story and made you feel you were right there.

Gripping revelation of how we self-inflict our own misery at times. Often light hearted and funny but also a true learning experience as Harold Fry and his wife reflect on life, all the while Harold travels by foot to Queenie.

The was an awesome story that we couldn't stop listening to. We had listened to, A Dogs Purpose and a Dog Journey and enjoyed them both so wanted to listen to this, although the book wasn't about dogs. We were not disappointed. We will be checking out the other
George K. Cameron books.

Road trip Zig Ziglar - message for those that are lost

My husband and I enjoy listening to Zig. We often stop the recording to discussed what he's speaking about. Very inspirational and thought provoking. Listening to Zig makes you realize that we may hold some of the attributes but it's the sum total of them all that makes you a success.
