Historia
In Saving Abnormal, Dr. Daniel Berger II presents an eye-opening account of both the historic origins and development of the current bio-psycho-social/neo-Kraepelinian model of mental illness, as well as how and why creating and asserting concepts of abnormality/degeneracy upon society is vital to sustain psychiatry’s existence. This book explores the key figures, important historic events, and clear scientific evidence so that the reader can gain understanding about the bio-psycho-social approach to the human soul/psyche, why it continues to fail, and why it must be discarded. Excellent and not so excellent
Revisado: 09-25-24
The author does a great job in giving a short-term explanation to what has happened to this nation. New material for sure for those who didn't live through it. Anyone in the 60 and overcrowd saw it happen as they lived through it. It is well worth listening to! Unfortunately however,I found the author's proposed solutions to our present dilemma to
be wholly inadequate. It was more of the same easy to hear niceties that focus on the family has been declaring for decades.
"People of Faith" will never be the solution.
We need a God-sent revival of truly regenerated, God-fearing disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We need faithful Christians to forsake the Public Sewers of the government education system, without apology. We also need fearless pastors to preach The unsoftened Gospel of God's grace along with a spirit empowered call to true biblical holiness.
Pray for God's mercy on us!

Very Worthwhile
Revisado: 11-06-21
This is a great contribution to the present discussion. insightful on many levels.
However, it is somewhat disappointing that the author speaks as a man lacking in self-consciousness. He speaks with great authority on a number of subjects seemingly unaware of his own presuppositions. He is as thoroughly religious as the very elect that he tries to critique. He is certainly an individual with a great intellect and an abundance of learning. However, he would benefit himself greatly to engage a number of the renowned Christian presuppositional apologists.
