Getting pretty repetitive

so basically these books are becoming more and more repetitive. Skippy is turning into more and more of a Rey like Mary Sue. Bad thing is set up, oh no! Don't worry problem solved because Skippy. oh wait Skippy can't do the thing because. oh don't worry Skippy just had to believe in himself harder. Good thing he was able to believe harder at the last minute.

honestly I would give this one a pass. It kinda seems like this series may be nearing the end of its creative life.

Great story

Overall a great story with a good performance and very relatable characters. While written for children I never felt the story was too young. Definitely worth a listen.

I was honestly engrossed in the story and was emotionally invested the children. I highly recommend.

The narrator does an okay job not great but okay. The writing is okay. It's a little amateurish at times in it's structure but not bad. The storyline overall is halfway decent.

it's just not that good

I thought the premise was great but turns out the execution is rather lame. it's ham handed and about the quality as fan fiction. I wanted to like it but the Obama era Alex Jones lizard people style conspiracy stuff kinda ruined it for me.
Keep in mind that a good portion of this book is just name dropping of whatever name brand gear was trendy that the tacti-bros fondled themselves over back in 2012. All the good guys have name brand trendy gear the bad guys have gear that's cheap or low class. Basic white hat, black hat style like in old cheesy cowboy movies.
I'm just glad I got this one for free.

Great story

this was a great fun storey. however the performance wasn't quite up to the level we are used to with this narrator. several times the narrator pronounced names incorrectly like seriously saying completely different names, it was kinda funny.
I bet though it was those lousy slobs that do the editing or some intern was making too much noise, I hope they canned him for it.

this story kind of missed the mark a little

The performance was great as usual. The narrator does a fantastic job as always. however the story on this one seems to kind of miss the mark It was kind of boring and just seemed to tie up a bunch of loose ends. It is almost like this is the last book of a series sort of tying up loose ends. It was enjoyable just not what we have come to expect.

this is a fantastic production. audible needs to do more of this than most of the other crap that they do for the free stuff. redo the classics and other great works and this same manner.

Kinda too short

it's kind of too short for an audiobook and especially too short for the price but it's a good read and a good story
