OMG! Even if you don’t like the story line just listening to this is fantastic. Well if you like Australian accents.
That being said, the seamless transition from part 1 to part 2 was a refreshing change from other series.

Many series can be read in any order. This series really needs to be read in order in order to get the most understanding out of the story. I love that this book was able to have the same narrator as the rest of the series. When a voice is given to a character, it’s really nice to always have that voice. Meow ;)

The wait is over

“The only way out is to die!” I’ve read reviews from fans who got to read the “original” Crypt stories. This full length novel is most definitely original. It plays upon those short stories, which all ended at the ship, and finally gets us able to see the ship - to go INSIDE the PUV James Keeling for the first time. We get to feel it as if we are THERE! The terror, the excitement, the insanity becomes real. Original? Oh heck yeah this is original! Buy it, read it, experience the PUV James Keeling and then Scream, Aim, and Fire…

Goes with The Gangster

It’s a toss up as to whether this book or The Gangster should be read first. There are parts of each that are spoilers for the other. That being said this is a necessary backstory for the GFL universe. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loose ends

It’s a good story but too long. There’s a lot that could have been edited out. The narrator is good but some of the character voices get mixed and it’s hard to keep track. I may have enjoyed it more if I read it. And the loose ends…egads. It could have wrapped up much better. Long story with no closure. An all around 3. It will go in the archives and never be listened to again. Shame as I had high hopes for it.

Read 3AM First

To really understand the bond between Henry & Lassie read 3AM first. The narrator for this novella is the same as for the 3AM series (thank goodness). I’m not certain if anybody else could read these characters as well as Jamie Renell. This short novella makes a great addition to the 3AM series.

WooHoo! Same narrator for Prescott!

Having listened to the entire Prescott series, I was a bit worried that Johnny Heller would not be the narrator for this book. I needn’t have been concerned. Thomas Prescott still sounds like himself. I love that Nick Pirog decided to give his readers the backstory for this series.
