Sig and Hutch - creators of such rich characters and story lines. This collaboration of two brilliant literary minds is perfection.

If you are new to Scott Sigler’s “Silgerverse”, this is a great starting point. You don’t NEED to read the GFL books in order to understand the story, this stands alone on its own just fine.

However, when you get to the end and want more AND YOU SHUCKING WILL BECAUSE IT’S A SHAMBLAZING STORY, get The Rookie next, and start this whole story arc at the beginning. Meet characters that are mentioned here in The Stone Wolves but never actually introduced.

The GFL is so much more than football, and this book shows that and leaves you wanting so much more. This cast of characters is relatable, funny, frightening, and fascinating. I seriously hope there will be more GFL spin-off adventures with this crew in the future.

Set in the GFL universe, this book does a great job fleshing out and sharing the deep and complex back story that gave us QB and the Krakens.

Slipping back into the Galactic Football League universe is equivalent to stepping back into Midworld in the Dark Tower series. So I feel like my family grew today. The crew of this ship are warriors that I would go into battle with. They are not perfect, they all struggle with their own personal demons, but when sacrifices must be made they know that the best path is hardly ever the easy path.
Exciting, fun and action packed with some great links to the Galactic Football League, this story answers a lot of questions and brings up others leaving you begging for the next book in the series. If you are new to the GFL, you have to read books 1-5 before you read this to prevent spoilers
Things are coming to a major climax and I can not wait to see how these characters help the cause.
I already consider the Ionath Krakens team to be part of my family, and this band of misfits has been added to my crew.

I think that Scott Ziegler is the greatest world builder in the history of writing. the galactic football League universe is the most immersive beautiful science fiction universe I have ever had the privilege of reading.

The FDØ continues to blow my mind by blurring the lines of morality and heroes. This is the girthiest novella ever.
