Having read Stephen King's books..fiction, non fiction....starting in my teens now well intto my 50s.....I can say they just get better and better. Thank you SK for all the wonderful memories of flashlight reading under the covers into the wee hours of the morning.....and now as my eyesight isn't what it used to be listening to your books on audio late into the night.

The best book I didn't know I needed to read!

Well written and so very thought provoking. A brave deep dive and an often brutally honest look inside at the author's journey to understand herself and also her parent's experience as immigrants in search of the american dream. I heard the author interviewed on NPR and thought I'm an Asian American this sounds interesting. I laughed, cried, and nodded in agreement and yelling outloud hell yes.. a lot! I didn't realize how much I needed to hear this book. And I learned so much about what I didn't know in regard to indigenous peoples history all across this country. Thank you for your wonderful perspective Julia Lee.

Although Scott Carey doesn’t look any different, he’s been steadily losing weight. There are a couple of other odd things, too. He weighs the same in his clothes and out of them, no matter how heavy they are. Scott doesn’t want to be poked and prodded. He mostly just wants someone else to know, and he trusts Doctor Bob Ellis. In the small town of Castle Rock, the setting of many of King’s most iconic stories, Scott is engaged in a low-grade - but escalating - battle with the lesbians next door whose dog regularly drops his business on Scott’s lawn. One of the women is friendly; the other, cold as ice.
