Don’t be fooled by the title and description! Even though it’s advertised as a “light” “fun”book, these books actually go deep on pretty serious topics related to anxiety, mindset, self worth, and compulsive behaviors. Be prepared, it’s not all fun and games. I found myself seeing this as surprisingly impactful and insightful.

The narrator gives you examples of how people we look up to have made themselves successful. The examples make so much sense. I would give anything to have had this audiobook when I was starting my career. I would have been much more successful!!! It is so full of useful information. I am always trying to grow and better myself and this book definitely helped me with that goal.

Surprisingly highly beneficial for business people. I got a lot of useful tips on breaking the ice and making polite conversations. I believe every businessman can benefit from it. I did, and I am an experienced Entrepreneur. Although I have listened to it twice, I just got to order the book so I can write in the book, highlight wherever I desire, paperclip, etc areas that I want to go back to quickly.
This is definitely one of the best most-useful books that I have listened to on this platform. It’s worth a try to listen to this one and most of Thomas’s books. Usually, I get the audiobook first before buying the book version to keep in my library. A nice find and worth every cent I paid. Worth keeping as a reference and guide and definitely worthy to recommend to friends.

How do you write something new and fresh about a topic that has been analyzed down to its toenails? Originally, I downloaded a sample of the book. I didn't get that much out of the sample. After completing the sample there was some information about a podcast by the author.
I decided to give it a listen while working around the house. I have spent the past three years studying and understanding many mindfulness and acceptance techniques that have their foundation in Buddhism and have been clinically proven to have pervasive health benefits. Principles of Secular Buddhism can be applied by anyone, regardless of religious belief.

I have implemented many of the suggestions in this audiobook, and I'm working on others. He does a great job of explaining WHY these strategies work. I'm definitely sleeping better! I read a lot, but I also enjoy listening to audiobooks while I'm doing chores around the house. This is a really good one-- funny, entertaining, and personal!
