A 2016 study compared four different types of meditation, and found that they each have their own unique benefits.

During body scan, for example, participants saw the biggest increases in how aware they were of their bodies (unsurprisingly) and the sharpest decline in the number of thoughts they were having, particularly negative thoughts and thoughts related to the past and future. Loving-kindness meditation led to the greatest boost in their feelings of warmth and positive thoughts about others. Meanwhile, observing-thought meditation seemed to increase participants’ awareness of their thoughts the most. Previous research also suggests that observing-thought meditation has an advantage in reducing our judgmental attitude toward others.

Meditation is the best

Without a doubt, meditation is the best because it allowed me to eliminate stress and rest in an incredible way. All the benefits that I have obtained with meditation are spectacular and have made me lead a healthy and very happy life. Being able to go to bed and sleep without any worries is magnificent.

I fall asleep quickly and rest a lot. Every time I listen to these stories, my body relaxes in an impressive way which has given me a better physical condition and perfect health. To be able to enjoy such a high-quality audiobook is wonderful.

"Life is about hard work and each thing in their time. There is a time for everything in our lives. Time to work and time to rest properly. I overcame everything that was hurting me.

I was able to overcome everything that was hurting me, thanks to meditation. Meditation helped me to forge a powerful mind, and thanks to it, I was able to get out of the depression I was in. This depression did not let me sleep because I always had harmful thoughts that aggravated my condition, but thanks to this audiobook, I overcame all that, and now I live happily.

Wonderful tips to sleep

"Like many people today I've been looking for better ways to manage stress and to find some peace. I was trying to meditate on my own for months and found it difficult. I was ready to give up, but I didn't. I felt meditation could help me if I could find some guidance, so I did some searching and found this audiobook. It is wonderful. It helps me focus and afterwards, I feel great. Usually, I find noises (voices) very distracting during meditation, but the author's voice is soothing like a caress though it took a little getting used to hear someone talk after a long silence."

Had great sleep!

"The audio of this guided meditation audiobook was very soothing, not only did the narrator put me to sleep with the help of the script. But my anxiety as dimmed down a lot. The audio quality was excellent then as for the script that was just as good. It has allowed me to have a better nights rest with minimal effort. Since I have been listening to these meditation scripts my sleep has improved much more. As a whole, I recommend this audiobook to everyone with sleeping issues.

Great to fall asleep

"I've listened to a lot of sleep learning tapes but this one really resonated with me. The soothing words finally broke through all of the inner walls and touched the Child within. Great to fall asleep listening to and waking up not hating life so much.
The beautiful voice really helps you to get into a meditative state in all the meditations there is also so many to choose from and to keep it varied if you don't like to do the same one every day, highly recommend."

Helped me tremendously.

"I have gotten in the habit of meditating daily and it has helped me tremendously. I think even little kids would benefit from this and they'd probably even do better than us adults. It is wonderful to hear narrator's soothing voice guiding me through meditation again. Listened to this for the first time while on vacation. Now, when I listen to it, I can just picture that scenery and listen to narrator's voice slowing down my thoughts."

Helps me fall asleep and stay asleep at night.

"Just the first session may create a balance between you and your emotions and from this way, give you the peace you are looking for. It`s not a magical stuff, is about touching your senses in a very different way that you are not expected. I absolutely love this audio-book. The first night I listened to it I fell fast asleep. The narrator's voice is amazingly calming. I would definitely recommend this audio-book for anyone that suffers from insomnia like me."

Getting a good eight hours sleep is possible

This audio book is helpful for feeling relaxed before sleeping, if you are relaxed before sleeping, you usually get a good long sleep, guided meditations is always a good way to get to sleep. It's been a wonderful way to get to sleep without much hassle. I am surprised by the effectiveness of this audio book, it proved to be really effective for getting to sleep at night. The narration is well done, the length of the audio book is good and appropriate as well.

It works wonders

This audiobook is a fantastic guide to managing your insomnia and other not-so-positive emotions that go through your brain before bed. This audiobook goes over all of the advantages of meditation, as well as the various techniques you can use. I am delighted with this book as I struggle with some sleep issues, and my partner got me this to help me overcome them. Overall, I think this deserves no less than five stars!
