Great follow up story
Revisado: 09-20-24
Fun and imaginative. Kelly has always had a way with words. Starting with his more serious early work and EMS Newbie podcast, it is not that much of a stretch to this weird world of sentient battle animals.

Only helpful if you already know it
Revisado: 07-24-24
This is like reading someone else’s study notes without hearing the full lecture. Unless you already know the material, it will not make sense. The reader’s sing-song delivery and mispronunciation of terms further detracts from the value.

Historia
In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

Emotional roller coaster
Revisado: 12-13-23
The saga continues and it is quite a ride. King”s Bridge suffers and triumphs and the story is at least as good as the first book.
