They did it. The West Memphis 3 are guilty. They are guilty despite what the documentaries, books and news stories have said over and over. Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley Jr. killed three 8-year-olds, Christopher Byers, Michael Moore and Stevie Branch, on May 5, 1993, in a wooded area in West Memphis, Ark. The murders were thrill kills, according to Echols himself. But they were much more than that. Police were struck by the ritualistic aspects. Fascinating case
Revisado: 10-24-24
Virtual voice is hard to listen to - incorrect pronunciation, strange cadence, glitches, etc. The story is fascinating - gives a different perspective on the case and makes you really think.

Historia
This collection of Buk's grimmest diaries gives an insight into the noir and brutal Los Angeles that Bukowski observed and lived so well. He was a legend in his time: a madman, a recluse, a lover...tender, vicious...never the same. These are exceptional stories that came pounding out of his violent and depraved life - horrible and holy. You cannot listen to them and come away the same again.

A Great Book With Not-So-Great Narration
Revisado: 10-23-19
The book itself is great but the narration is annoying. It sounds like a guy doing a bad impersonation of Dirty Harry, dramatically speaking through clenched teeth. It doesn't do justice to the material and rather takes away from what is otherwise a good book.
