if you dislike this series due to the status updates, you are missing out on a great story. this is the best litrpg out there. cant wait for the evolution of this series and its execrable conclusion.

for those just seeing this 10th installment of the series, listen to the first 9 books. it is a story that drives those who have followed the books. this installment is a bit shorter than the other books but packs s punch. the shadows converge at the end and bring a tear to the hard-core listeners. this story combined with the narrator brings this book and series to life.
don't worry, if a story is what you are after, after all the installments, it delivers. i will follow the story to the end (it should never end in my opinion) and all the characters between a wtf happened and this is just normal for us worlds.
good story telling and a great reader. you won't go wrong with this series.

The way the reader performs this book adds hours to this book.... A one second pause after every single sentence creates a failed flow... there is no flow. one sentence is like the start of a new chapter, each and every time.
Wanted to like it, but couldnt get past this narrator. will try to finish this..... But for me its a struggle

I don't know what some reviewers are talking about. Zach is the same as always evolving as he evolves. This series has become one of my favorites. And I'm sure everyone that likes RP g's will love this book and this series

This 6th book in the GFL series was good. it isn't what you expected. Normally a GFL book follows a whole year in the time line. This book was split in two due to its size. (and i suspect to increase the publications for the author.) That said, it makes perfect sense. I look forward to the second part of this GFL year to come out. I hope we do not have to wait 7 years again..... Things in Quentin Barnes's life have really turned a page.
