I guess it was better than Tony's book. I liked Luke and Zach's characters but Posie's character irked me. I softened towards her when she snuggled with the little girl. That was the only glimpse of depth I felt/heard about her. Maybe I had more emotionally invested in the guys because they are in other books.🤷‍♀️ This also didn't feel like an end to a book series the ending of the book it self was not satisfying.

prologue almost stopped me from the rest

I was about to stop listening in the middle of the prologue, it was too rape like. I decided to skip it and start at chapter 1, which worked just fine. The lady narrator irked me trying to sound as if she was from Boston, but not enough.
I enjoyed the male and female voices used for everyother chapter.

I thought the story was great! I didn't want to stop listening. I was working while I listened. Loved the narrator, loved her so much I want to know what her favorite books have been to narrate.

First book in this genre, hooked

I've never listened to a Rom-Suspense, book or any romantic type book. I was at work and needed a book to listen to that was fiction, something I didn't have listen to every word and could concentrate on work too. Because it was an audible original I just picked a book on a whim, pretty blindly. Well I'm hooked. I went ant listen to this authors other books too. I like this one the most out of the 3 available on audible.

I wanted to love this because this is a fav subject but the Prof speaking was anxiety inducing for me. If I was in his class I would probably enjoy and understand the topic more because of his speech pattern, especially if he was drawing or outlining. The lack of non-verbal nuance just makes me tune out his voice. #ADHD

great book about plastics!

Only certain friends that would be concerned with plastic in their life.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The medical aspect of plasic.
And the plastic bag.
The book is great at explaining why plastic came about and how each item the writter hones in on made way for more and more plasic to invade our lives with out us barely noticeing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, the chapter about the chair was a little over the top boring. But I appreciate how thourgh she was from the begining of the chair to how we came to a plasic chair. Almost as if you need to master the concept of the chair before understanding the simplicity of a chair being one (plastic) piece.
