I prrsonally like a little more "color", but overall this was a great story. very clean (not smutty or gory) with all of the right feel goods an unapologetically strong heroine should represent.

it's a World! Not a series!

great narration, great story, fantastic humor and touching moments all wrapped in a sci-fi Rollercoaster. And if that's not enough its filled with pop culture and music references that keep you relating to the characters even more.

so disappointing

this was a hard listen for me. the combination of automaton/ newscaster droning sentence after sentence was hard to grasp. I am a big blain fan so this was a hard to listen to. it took everything away from the characters and the banter these books are known for.
then the story just ends. what a shame.

I had some issues with the women being portrayed as a little petulant after already asserting that they were intelligent and cognizant of their surroundings and situations but... hey... it wore off because you can't be both. I love the realism. it takes fantasy into a more "What would you really do?" by law, by state, by society, by nationality by humanity. How would we handle these situations? i have never seen a view like this ( in this genre) and I read... A LOT... On book 2 and ready to see where this goes in book 3. I'm looking forward to the other series by this author

A vampire telling with the sense of Van Helsing AND (Bram Strokers) DRACULA but perspectives of humans being fully aware of their place on a new food chain. I love dystopian theories. great story! I cant wait for the next season.

I get the idea of it

honestly I was disappointed. I tried several times to get into the story and follow the premise of this book. the cadence is to slow and the tiny rises in climax way to far apart and drawn out. maybe some that are interested in DJing or Circustry can find it fitting.

This is one of my all-time favorite trilogies. I read a lot, and I listened to audile books more. not only does the narrator keep it 💯, there is not the mathematics involved to decipher what the author (or characters for that matter) are going through. the immediate feelings of every emotional point are convincing and honest at that moment. it is so emursive. I love it. im happy with my purchase and look forward to a hard copy to add to my collection

I have been reading RJ Blaine alot. I love her novels and audio books for the same reasons I love this package. I came across this because of the reviews and recommendations. I was smiling and enjoying the first 15 min! fantastic voice acting. perfectly written. one might think Vesik is just an amazing story teller and it was never a book but thats not true. truly happy with this purchase. rj Blaine has a similar modern magic humor that I love. im just glad I can add to my faves section
