I really enjoyed it. The characters were fun and lovable and the story enjoyable. I feel like I could have related really well with mfc in my younger days .

So much fun!

One of the reasons I love Jayne Bamber is the fun and the characters. She usually writes with a whole cast of charaters so there is never a lull in her writing. I love how some of the characters get more depth and others express opinions I have always felt, but rarely hear.

This book did not disappoint in its delicious way it plays with the characters. The narration was excellent, with so many people to keep straight it takes someone that can do many different types of voices so you can keep them straight. Benjamin Fife did that very well! This was worth the credit.

I really loved the twist in the story. I don’t love virtual voice but I can listen to it with my membership so that was a bonus.

Amazing narration another great book

This is my second time around listening to the city between series and it just keeps getting better! This book is one of my very favorites. It’s a real turning point in the story line and really gets into some of the best secondary characters.

I’m sure I’ll be listening to this series again and again.

I love this author’s varation!

So I don’t love AI narration, they have come a long way so it’s not bad narration but there are artists that do an amazing job. It is expensive so here we are. But I had to listen to them because I really love this author. Her writing isn’t perfect but the fun creative story lines that more than make up for it. I can’t wait to pick up the next one. Her writing is so gloriously indulgent, you want to have a good gossip over tea with the main characters. So keep writing and I’m excitedly on to read part 2.

Another great installment with a great narrator

This series keeps you in the edge of your seat, with side characters that could have their own books and main characters that simmer with chemistry. I loved how the narrator brought all the characters to life. Warning you will be wanting to have the next book on hand because you will want to know what happens next!.

A fun, creative, with just a touch of dark listen!

I was on a bit of a slump in this genre, when I picked up this book to listen to. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to do the book justice and give it a chance. The premise was interesting so I gave it a couple minutes.

I was very quickly won over by the banter, creative side characters and the tease of mystery at every turn (but not in a cozy mystery sort of way). I’m kind of dying to find out everything but also hoping not to find out too soon…

The narrator I thought did an excellent job. There are a lot of fun characters and some of them could be over the top or even annoying. Let’s face it a main character that mainly speaks in monotone could easily be hard on the ears but she hit it right.

I can’t wait for the next book! Thanks for getting me out of my slump!.
