While I loved the readers, I couldn't stand this story!!! The female lead said his whole name way too many times!!! It seemed like the authors were trying to fill a word count. We know his last name!! We didn't need to hear it almost every time she thought about him!!! The female lead was too ignorant for a 19 year old that was raised like a regular person until she was 16. She was a pain in the as* this whole story! Her "growth" was severely lacking. Now the male lead was alright. He was just a bit pervy for wanting a 19 yr old at his age. The readers were great! Please do not let this sway you from the other IVI books. This one was the ABSOLUTE worst in the series!

OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!! I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so all I can say is OMG!!!! This was an AMAZING story!!! Every action scene had me on the edge of my seat!! I appreciate the POV from different characters without having it announced! Elizabeth Evans was an excellent narrator!! I could tell the difference between each character! It is a cliffhanger and ends with a BANG!!!

I LOVE THIS SERIES! The story was well written. I wasn't in love or like with the performance. In the beginning I couldn't tell the characters apart, her voice inflections weren't very good at first. As the story went on she got better. I am planning to listen to the series again, it's one of my all time favs, I don't know if I'll be listening to this one again.

Sarah J Maas has once again created a MASTERPIECE!!! This story had more twist and turns than I could keep up with!!! I literally laughed and cried! I cannot wait for the next installment!
Elizabeth Evans is a PHENOMENAL storyteller! Her ability to distinguish between the characters is like none other! I have truly enjoyed every single moment of this book and I look forward to the next installment!

I adore the writer! I love the back and forth between the characters. The problem I have is the "strong" women are ALWAYS crying!!! One minute there was great conversations and next she was crying......ALL THE TIME!!! The performance was good. I loved listening to the voices, I just wished they would have matched the 1st book better. Slade had an accent in the 1st book and Jagger is from Russia. I heard none of that in these voices. In all fairness, I could tell the difference but it was not what I expected

I am gonna finish this book but I do NOT like it!!!! While I understand that Pamela is a teen and needs guidance, her personality is weak compared to the last book. I love the storytelling! Lauren Fortgang always delivers! The inflection in her voice, the switch between characters is wonderful as always! I'm going to finish because I need to see how this ends
