Through Austin Channing Brown's personal thoughts and experiences, I was able to recognize much of my own story. This candid narrative plainly lays out a truthfulness that is unsettling. I've just completed the book and have already recommended it to 4 people, 2 of which are white individuals seeking deeper understanding. This book provides valuable insight during these extremely difficult times.
