I’ve never heard of this author but damn if she isn’t a true talent for writing. This was a short erotic but beautiful story. Really worth the time. The narration was good. Could have been more distinction between the sexes but I thought it flowed nicely.

I'm interested in the social aspects of erotica but make no judgements - each to their own. For an enjoyable rest and listen, this is pretty good. The story line hangs together quite well.

Where does Improper Relations rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is my 3rd book in line that is in good standing with my other books. The story line is well written and the erotic scenes build around the plot instead of the plot building around the erotic scenes. Very interesting and erotic.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Improper Relations?

her curiosity and his love for her.

Which scene was your favorite?

the ending. love.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Love is deeper then what you see.

I will enjoy this story again and again on lazy Sunday afternoons. Great attention to detail. Good book overall.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I like this book, but it was like taking any regular romance novel and editing it so only the sex scences appear and dash in a tragedy and a I love you in the end and poof you have a book.

The book story was orginal to a point and I liked the charaters - I would listen again if I needed a short story and was needing a heavy romance.

What three words best describe Victoria McGloven’s voice?

She was ok - wouldn't mind a another book by this narrator.

I enjoyed the narrator, the speed ov her voice was good and she gave the characters a little life.

Leo, a bold scamp!

What does Victoria McGloven bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I always prefer listening over reading except when the narrator is bad. I cannot say anything bad about this one. I was. It disappointed

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was devistaded by one part towards the end, it was like there would not be a happily ever after.

Any additional comments?

The entire story grabbed my attention and although the ending was predictable I loved it. I'm not usually interested in short stories.

I purchased this story because it was cheap and I wanted something sexy and short to listen to. It was definitely erotica, not at all realistic. Which is fine if that is what you are in the mood for. I don't plan on listening to it again in the near future, but I won't rule it out indefinitely. The narration was good but the story was just sex and basically only sex. It left me with the feeling of a girl that has a one nightstand over and over again with a distant relative, Oh, and don't forget the Victorian setting. Not the best I've listened to but it is simple and cheap.

Improper Relations follows the format of a common paper back romance novel. This isn't discrediting it, just be aware it doesn't stray from the norms. I would recommend it if you are looking for a short (2 hours) romance to listen to. It is easy to follow and enjoyable to listen to.
