This story explores the different levels of grief, love, life, and death. Grief is not something you recover from, it is something you learn to live with. You can let it consume you or you can let it fuel you, and sometimes you go back and forth or live both. I cried, laughed, and cheered for the characters in this book. This helped me with my grief in ways I wasn’t expecting. Please give it a try! Fantastic story, wonderful narration, and all the feelings. It will mean to you what it means, and you won’t regret it.

Historia
It was supposed to be a prank. A silly frat boy dare. One hot moment in a hidden storage closet. One kiss. No consequences. But if you get that close to a man with fire in his eyes, you’re gonna get burned, and I was no exception. One taste of Grey Blackwood ruined me for life. The way Grey sees it, I was the one who did the ruining. I humiliated him. Wrecked his life. Destroyed his future.

Revisado: 12-17-21
I haven’t written a review in ages and I feel bad about that but this book was fantastic. I am usually not a fan of the enemies to lovers troupe but the chemistry between these two was amazing! Lucy Lennox did a fantastic job fleshing out each character while giving you realistic obstacles any budding relationship would face given their history. Loved the way this one ended and I hope there are more like this to come! Bravo!

Historia
Nikolai Vorislav likes his single life just as it is. Simple, relaxing, and quiet. What he doesn't need is some foul-mouthed Texan hellcat living in his house, eating his food, flirting with his idiot brothers, and shooting holes in his home with his granddaddy's gun. But those long legs, dark eyes, and lethal tongue are making Nik insane, and he fears that he may be caught in the sexiest animal trap ever.

I laughed so much while listening to this one that I was surprised. Each book has it's own set of funny situations but there are so many to count in this one. Great narration and great story! Love the epilogue tying everything at the end. Very recommended! Low angst, high steam, and lots of humor.

Revisado: 08-09-20
I don’t think I’ve ever smiled, laughed, and cried so much. This series was a balm to my grieving heart. Absolutely worth the read! No matter what pains you have you can relate to Spencer in that the bad times don’t last forever. Everyone deserves happiness and the fact that he found it in his chosen family and Andrew is an amazing blessing. This is absolutely worth the credit if you’ve listened to the first two books already!

An Absolute Treasure
Revisado: 07-18-20
I rarely write reviews and tend to mostly rate and move on, but I had to stop for this one.
Having just recently gotten divorced from a partner I thought would be there into my old age just shy of my 30s, I truly empathize with both what Henry and Reed struggled with in their past. I also completely understand what it's like to feel like death when it comes to working out! I felt every workout Henry had to do and huffed and puffed along in solidarity because heading back to the gym after being out of shape is no small potatoes.
This story is a breathe of fresh air! The struggles Henry goes through about his decisions and realizing the beauty of doing for one’s self for once is something I truly understand. He got to a point where he realized in order to pursue the happiness he needed to get past himself first. Insecurities and doubt is something everyone struggles with and his level of awareness about how he was treating himself and how he was perceiving what he could have with Reed was a great example of growth to see in him.
Reed was amazing! He truly saw Henry for who he was and wasn’t shy about his feelings despite his own inner turmoil with his insecurities. He knew when to be there for Henry but he also had the ability to know when to let Henry stand on his own two feet to reach his accomplishments, offering a little push if needed. Their relationship was such a sweet balance of give and take and I love how they fit with each other.
They both had amazing friends that were delightful characters to hear! Joel Leslie did an absolutely outstanding job narrating and I am so blown away by his performance! I had never heard him do anything but American accents before and this was pleasantly shocking for me. His timing, variety, and talent to bring emotion into each character introduced is definitely a reason to listen besides the great story itself!
Low angst, and a happily ever after you’ll be rushing to the finish line to listen to. Definitely recommend!

I loved this installment! It was lovely to see how Jonah grew and how Ben learned to see from a different perspective to better understand his lover.
The reappearance of some fun characters yielded some surprising changes in the story worth reading!
Would definitely recommend if you love this series and if you want to have a small peek of Lord Krane and Mr. Day from the outside looking in.

Historia
Ehd's a caveman living on his own in a harsh wilderness. He's strong and intelligent but completely alone. When he finds a beautiful, young woman in his pit trap, it's obvious to him that she is meant to be his mate. Elizabeth doesn't know where she is or exactly how she got there. She's not at all interested in Ehd's primitive advances, and she just can't seem to get him to listen. No matter what she tries, getting her point across to this primitive but beautiful man is a constant - and often hilarious - struggle.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I read the blurb but I was happily surprised. How the author managed to create an entire story through the mind of someone with limited language skills and knowledge but a desire to understand their mate is absolutely beyond me. Very well done and a sweet story to boot! You’ll have your happy ending but not before you realize the troubles they face them when time and nature itself comes between them. Definitely recommended!

Revisado: 01-04-19
What a lovely ending to a beautiful series! This is the first time I have listened to a proper ménage book series that doesn’t fetishize the fact that they are a poly group. I like how Ella Frank treats them as normal and loving as any other relationship and that ending is just amazing! This book will get you in all the warm and fuzzies and remind you that love in any form is magical. Going to miss Robbie, Priest, and Julien but I am so happy they got such a beautiful happily ever after. <3

Family is not always defined by blood. It's defined by those who make us whole - those who make us who we are. And here, at the end, Bear and Otter will be tested like they've never been before. There's a knock at the door from a little girl who has nowhere else to go. There's a phone ringing, bringing news they do not expect. There's a brother returning home after learning how to stand on his own. As these moments converge, all of their lives will change forever.

I Am Breathless
Revisado: 11-13-18
I have never gotten through a book series that has meant so much to me. My heart is full, my eyes teary, and my mind full of characters that I will always cherish. Reading/listening to these books has helped me get through rough times and has made good times better. Being bisexual and bigender, I felt warmth in my heart at the inclusion of so many characters I could relate to. Thank you for writing these books TJ, they reminded me to appreciate what I have in front, remember the past but don’t let it overcome you, and look to the future. Despite all the earthquakes we may have, when you learn to breathe and love with family supporting you, there is nothing left to do than to travel down The Long and Winding Road. So much love to Bear, Otter, and The Kid, not goodbye, but see you later <3

This book put me through a range of emotions and I am so glad I got to experience it. Beyond amazing from start to finish. Love the representation of a bigender character as there isn’t much visibility for people like me and that warmed my heart. Thank you TJ for inspiring me to feel a little less lost and a lot more hopeful by learning The Art of Breathing.
