Historia
God and Ronald Reagan made presidential historian Paul Kengor's name as one of the premier chroniclers of the life and career of the 40th president. With The Crusader, Kengor returns with the one book about Reagan that has not been written: the story of his lifelong crusade against communism and of his dogged and ultimately triumphant effort to overthrow the Soviet Union.

Excellent, timeless.
Revisado: 11-13-24
Very straightforward well supported telling of a clear case of God providing the world with the right man at the right time. Few have had the courage and clarity of vision that Ronald Reagan did. Fewer still have had the opportunities to act in such a beneficial way to millions he would never meet.

Historia
With the civilized universe conquered, it’s up to the uncivilized to fight back. Rico prefers working alone, but this time, he’s leading an army against his two greatest enemies, who both have one thing in common: Rico’s own DNA. Fighting a personal battle on a galactic scale, Rico enlists thieves, murderers, and malcontents (plus one space princess) to help him save the universe from tyranny. And considering Rico’s new associates, it’s not a question of whether he’ll be betrayed, but when, and by whom.

Historia
Ken "The Snake" Stabler was the embodiment of the original Men in Black - the freewheeling, hard-hitting Oakland Raiders. The league's first swashbuckling pass thrower, the mythical southpaw Southerner famous for come-from-behind drives late in the game, Stabler led the Raiders to their first Super Bowl championship in 1977.

Snake - more than we knew…
Revisado: 06-20-24
What a man, what a team, what a time. I grew up loving the Raiders and Ken Stabler is the first Raider quarterback I remember. Very much enjoyed learning more about him, and being reminded of many things I have known a long time.

Historia
The war in Ukraine is the ultimate real-life lesson of what can happen when a country disarms its citizens. Anti-gun zealots in the United States insist that the Second Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms is a “relic.” Try telling that to the people of Ukraine.

A timely glimpse of a reality many are not aware of.
Revisado: 03-16-24
A concise chronicle of some important realities. I was going to say our nation’s founders would endorse this book. But the reality is they did endorse the concepts captured in its pages. Maybe it can help some wake up before it is too late.

Revisado: 05-18-23
The historical background details about the Roman Empire were very illuminating.
Nice concise story that gets to the point.
Makes me even more grateful for what Jesus taught, and accomplished on our behalf.
