Early Dutch settlers imprinted the strange new scenery with scary fables. Washington Irving's writings enlivened the folklore and added more fuel to the already smoldering supernatural mix. Where there's smoke there's fire, the saying goes, and surely there seems to be truth to the spookiness as evidenced by the plethora of haunted houses. Great Little Listen
Revisado: 07-09-24
I’m from the Hudson Valley and really enjoy listening to this book. A great quick read/listen for anyone looking for some spooky stories from a beautiful place full of history. A tiny tiny bit of the reading could have been a bit better, I thought it was maybe ai reading a few times, not a big deal tho, still a great little book.

I’m a chef that worked very hard to be proud to call myself a chef and this podcast just hit home. The way the author/interviewer talks to the chefs shes has on the show is amazing, it’s just very fun to listen to. Also the fact that she’s in the restaurants is a very interesting touch that I think makes the podcast different from others in such a great way.
