Historia
July 1912. Lady Hardcastle and her tenacious lady’s maid, Florence Armstrong, are enjoying a convivial gathering at the home of their dear friends, the Farley-Strouds. The only fly in the idyllic ointment seems to be the lack of musical entertainment for the forthcoming summer party—until, that is, Lady Hardcastle’s brother Harry calls with news of a murder.

Absolutely Love this series
Revisado: 08-15-24
I love Lady Hardcasle and Florence aka tiny one. The situations they get into. I love the story teller the way she talks for each character is perfect, I can imagine what each one looks like, I have the whole series and I can listen to them over and over again. Every time I do, I catch something I didn't hear before because I was laughing.
This new addition is just as good as the first.

I loved the story of the women in this book, the journey of each to find themselves their own power, their own voice and their own truth.
I recommend this book, it gives hope and encouragement for you to find your own person, your own self discovery.
this is not my normal genre in books but I heard about it on Meghan Markle's Spotify pod cast. I'm really glad I got.

Story was not bad
Revisado: 12-27-22
The story was not bad, I liked the characters, there was a twist I was not expecting so bonus however it was a struggle to keep listening the story teller well I apologize for the frankness but she was almost moatone and it was like she was just reading to get the job done it felt as if she wasn't feeling it. Some story tellers just have this flare to hold at every word and I didn't get it. I might try to read it myself if I have time to see if I enjoy the book more.

Inside are paintings Tess’s late grandfather, beloved and celebrated artist Sebastian Bell, hid away for generations. But these appear to be the works of a twisted mind, almost unrecognizable as paintings she and others familiar with his art would expect.

Historia
Eighteenth-century anatomist Dr. Thomas Silkstone travels to the English countryside to unravel a tangled web of mystery, medicine, and murder in this captivating new novel from Tessa Harris. A man staggers out of his cottage into the streets of Oxfordshire, shattering an otherwise peaceful evening with the terrible sight of his body shaking and heaving, eyes wild with horror. Many of the villagers believe the devil himself has entered Joseph Makepeace, the latest victim of a "great fog" that darkens the skies over England like a biblical plague.

Historia
The irascible husband of Victorian Egyptologist Amelia Peabody demonstrates again why he has been nicknamed "Father of Curses." Denied permission to dig at the pyramids of Dahshoor, Emerson is awarded instead the "pyramids" of Mazghunah: countless mounds of rubble in the midst of nowhere. Nothing in this barren spot seems worthy of interest - until an antiquities dealer is murdered in his Cairo shop.

A gem that in the beginning was rough
Revisado: 07-22-22
this book stared out slow, I almost gave up on it. But to my delight it was a great listen, it had me laughing out loud, there was intrigue and I was trying to figure out who the bad guy was. it had ever thing you could want in a story. The characters were a treat of humor and relatability to possibly people in your own life well at least they do in mine.

This was a recommendation book, I didn't have high hopes for it. I laughed while listening to, tried to figure out who was the killer and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters were unexpectedly witty. I am looking forward to another book from the author T E Kinsey.
