Historia
Mercenary Kate Daniels and her mate, Curran, the Beast Lord, are struggling to solve a heartbreaking crisis. Unable to control their beasts, many of the Pack’s shape-shifting children fail to survive to adulthood. While there is a medicine that can help, the secret to its making is closely guarded by the European packs, and there’s little available in Atlanta. Kate can’t bear to watch innocents suffer, but the solution she and Curran have found threatens to be even more painful. The European shape-shifters who once outmaneuvered the Beast Lord have asked him to arbitrate a dispute - and they’ll pay him in medicine.

Love this series!

This is one of my favorite series. It well written with engaging witty banter and just the right amount of description of the setting to keep the imagination engaged. I like that Kate is a character that does not come off egotistical or too self sacrificing.

Historia
Forensic psychologist and rookie FBI agent Alexis Forrest returns to her hometown of Broken Hill to investigate the disappearance of a missing teenage girl. Returning to this snowy New England town is the last thing Alexis wants to do. Simple who done it story.

It was a decent book to listen to while doing other things. Did not require to much concentration to follow along. I am not huge fan of the narration, I prefer a human with inflection.

Historia
In Son of No One, next in the blockbuster The Dark-Hunters series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, it's not easy being life's own personal joke, but Josette Landry has made an unstable peace with the beast. Completely down on her luck, Josette takes a job with a local paranormal group as a photographer and camerawoman. Yeah, they're even crazier than she is. The only paranormal thing she believes in is the miracle that keeps her rusted-out hoopty running. But when something truly evil is released into the world, they are forced to call in reinforcements.

Good Addition To the Series

I love all her books. While not my favorite, it is consistant with all her previous works. A well written visually descriptive story. The narrator was fine but I would personally prefer a female narrator for her books.
