Historia
The Lockheed SR-71, unofficially known as the Blackbird, was an advanced, long-range, Mach 3 strategic reconnaissance aircraft developed by Lockheed Skunk Works. The aircraft flew so fast and high that not one was ever shot down, even by a missile. SR-71 pilot and instructor Colonel Richard Graham offers a rare cockpit perspective on how regular Air Force pilots and navigators transformed themselves into SR-71 Blackbird crews, turning their unique aviation talents to account in an unprecedented way.

Boring
Revisado: 12-04-24
Too dry, too technical. Much is repeated. Needed a diagram to even begin to understand.

The Appendix
Revisado: 11-24-24
I found the Appendix strange. It was supposedly written by a serial killer. But it all sounded very hard to believe and it was strange on how it went off on tangents.

Historia
From the files and pen of world renowned true crime writer Alan Hynd (1903 - 1974) comes a deliciously dark sampling of some of the most fascinating true murder cases of the first half of the 20th Century. These stories, the first of three short collections, are unified by a single theme: they all involve physicians. And not for the autopsy, but as perpetrators or accused perpetrators. You may never see your family care giver again in the same light. Told in the characteristic wry, anecdotal reportorial style that made Alan Hynd famous in his day (two wartime best sellers in 1943, ...

Not in favor of virtual voice
Revisado: 10-19-24
This was my first experience with virtual voice narration and while I was surprised how good it sounded, pretty close to an actual human voice, I am not in favor of this. Obviously this is something that takes away jobs from people. At least two words were pronounced wrong repeatedly.

So many mispronunciations
Revisado: 08-28-23
I echo other reviews here about the many startling mispronounced words. Why doesn’t someone “proofread” these narrations?

Terrible Reader
Revisado: 02-03-22
This book was hard to listen to, with the reader using a strange stop and go, pauses, and rushed narration. It was really hard to follow the book. Did the editor not notice this bad reading??
