Insane and inspiring.

I absolutely breezed through this audiobook book. Doug recounts his rise to comedy fame, and the one person who was always there for him. His mother. Anyone would be lucky to have a mom as supportive as Bonnie. Multiple times Doug's introspective and hilarious story-telling had me laughing in the supermarket like a crazy person. Listening to the story of how a young couch-surfer became a worldwide success will be inspiring to any young person who feels lost in life. I definitely recommend this book.

The timeline laid out by Ben is very coherent and informative. While brief on certain subjects, the important bits are explained clearly for a lamen in these subjects (like myself) to understand his narrative. It also avoids getting overly verbose. Ben is clearly interested in the ideas themselves above all. I have a long reading list to get to now. Thank you so much for this.
