PERFORMANCE!
Revisado: 08-10-24
Once again TJ Clark gives an absolutely phenomenal performance. A wide range of voices are required in order for these characters to fully bring the story to life and TJ absolutely nailed it! Can’t wait to start the next book!

Excellent narrator performance!
Revisado: 08-02-24
This story is very religiously motivated. Roughly 1/10th of the text is biblical scripture, which is totally fine! Just not really my bag. Nonetheless, it’s another entertaining Goodwin story and I always enjoy Kevin Pierce’s performances!

Historia
Most of my writing is in a series people seem to enjoy but there is a constant small crowd who say: I'd really like your take on an alien invasion story. Well this is for them. The bulk of the aliens come to Earth stories assume their vast superiority, sometimes invincibility. Sometimes they suddenly appear on the white house lawn dictating terms. I have yet to see one with them appearing at the Kremlin or Canberra which seems rather parochial.

Historia
Set in Italy during World War II, this is the story of the incomparable, malingering bombardier Yossarian, a hero who is furious because thousands of people he has never met are trying to kill him. But his real problem is not the enemy - it is his own army, which keeps increasing the number of missions the men must fly to complete their service. Yet if Yossarian makes any attempt to excuse himself from the perilous missions he's assigned, he'll be in violation of Catch-22.

Nope!
Revisado: 05-06-22
Jay O. Sanders the narrator was fantastic! However the actual story made me want to stab myself in the face. I had to speed it up to 1.3x just to get through it faster, because I couldn’t bring myself to just quit in the middle since I paid for it. Sure it had its funny parts but the style of writing was not for me.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Narrator was horrible.
Revisado: 09-30-15
This sequel was enjoyable however the narrator did not delivery a very good performance.
There wasn't a consistency when is came to the accents of each character. Sometime it got "too redneck" where as 4 chapters prior it was a more subtle drawl. "Jersey", "Massachusetts", and "Carolina" accents were not well represented.
I was also very frustrated by the lack of attempt to maintain similar character voices from the first story. I understand if you cannot have the same narrator but it is the second guys duty to sound as much like the first one as possible. Really took me out of the story.
Constructive criticism

Revisado: 08-25-15
There's one spot in the story, (exact time code unknown) where the track skipped and repeats about 2 seconds of itself. I rewound and played again to the same result.
It occurred in the middle of the story where discovery in near Jupiter and Saturn. The Hal computer starts to act funny and they begin EVAing to fix the ship... That's the best description I can give without listening to the whole thing again.
Thanks
