The book takes place in my Trilogy community and was written by a neighbor.
Lots of plot twists.
Virtual Voice was not bad. Easy to follow, got most words correct. It had a problem with bocce.
I think i enjoyed Happy Hour Murders more.

Fun easy read. Bonus if you know what Trilogy is
Revisado: 04-16-25
The book's first half accurately describes members of our communities' daily lives.
It is a very positive representation of our members and community.
The builder of our active adult community should have given a copy of this book to anyone considering buying here.
After describing the community and characters, the plot develops into a murder mystery and a love story.
I have been listening to audible books for 25 years. The computer-generated reader was done very well.
Better than the average real reader.
The author is one of our very own members. And I have visited with him at the cigar and wine clubs. No pink flamingos. 😊
Thank you, Frederick Wysocki and Audible, for offering this to us.
It was fun

It is time to re-imagine the world and the way we live - the old patterns of politics, economics, and religion that aren’t working. It’s time for a new kind of Christianity. In Red Letter Revolution, best-selling authors Shane Claiborne and Tony Campolo take on the hardest issues facing our world.

This explained to me my Spiritual beliefs
Revisado: 02-09-25
As am not currently a church Christian, but live the words of Jesus. The words of Jesus in Mathew especially. Blessed are …
I asked a part-time pastor friend of mine what I was.
He said a Red Letter Christian. I have thought that exact thing but didn’t know it existed for others. I purchased this book.
Nothing has ever matched my beliefs better.
I really liked my interpretation of chapter 7. Do Christians Muslims and Jewish follow the same God? We all believe and act on the words of Jesus.
Other chapters on hating people. As the current pope said, it is not my job to judge. And Jesus said Love thy neighbor.
This book woke up my spiritual mind. I am looking for others like it and will listen to this again soon.

Historia
Roanoke Hundred is an historical novel about the very first attempt to found an English colony in North America in 1585. Although it is a fictional account, the story is based on the letters, diaries, and archives of the period. Every character is based on a real person. The entire adventure centers around one of England’s greatest heroes, Sir Richard Grenville. Grenville was lord of the manors of Stowe, Kilkhampton in Cornwall, and of Bideford in Devon. He was also a soldier, an armed merchant fleet owner, privateer, colonizer, and explorer.

Historia
The life of Princess May of Teck is one of the great Cinderella stories in history. From a family of impoverished nobility, she was chosen by Queen Victoria as the bride for her eldest grandson, the scandalous Duke of Clarence, heir to the throne, who died mysteriously before their marriage. Despite this setback, she became queen, mother of two kings, grandmother of the current queen, and a lasting symbol of the majesty of the British throne.

I usually gravitate to books about early European history 1400 to 1700. But this story emcompased information about several members of royalty; family members and infamous people..... in addition to Queen Mary.

Poisoner, despot, necromancer - the dark legend of Catherine de Medici is centuries old. In this critically hailed biography, Leonie Frieda reclaims the story of this unjustly maligned queen to reveal a skilled ruler battling extraordinary political and personal odds - from a troubled childhood in Florence to her marriage to Henry, son of King Francis I of France; from her transformation of French culture to her fight to protect her throne and her sons' birthright. Based on thousands of private letters, it is a remarkable account of one of the most influential women to wear a crown.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Any additional comments?
The book was even better than the movie, which was terrific. The books ratings says how good it is. 86,000 reviews and 4.80. I cannot say enough good things about it. I love hard sci-fi and this was best. Every problem solved with easy to understand solutions. Need oxygen, do this. The best part of book was humor and sarcasm, which movie did, but had to tame it down lots.Performance was fantastic..
