I didn’t give a high review for the performance because it’s AI. The overall plot is not very appealing, now dating the judge is not too interesting, I skipped this book. Hopefully the storyline improoves. it would have been best if Noah would have started to experience the ghosts when he is with Lottie.

It changed

The new narrator stand alone was good. It’s difficult when your in book 16 and there’s a new narrator, and the previous one did an excellent job. Not only the voices changed but the one before gave them personality. In this book the author left several of the characters out with minimal appearances which took the fun out, put them back in with the regular narrator and you have a hit. I love this series though.

The change in narrator

I really like this series, the change of narrator not so much. She did good but the prevoís one nailed the personalities of the characters. His ever funny punchline too. The sudden change was odd. I also wish some of the regular characters appeared more, Marty, Olivia, Angie, uncle Stan and oz. The killer was predictable, I thought it should have been the stalker.

Confusing

I was confused most of the time. There is no logic to the order. Narrators are horrible. I found a review with suggestions on the order but the books are not labeled within the box set. I won’t finish listening to this

Interesting but depressing

The narration was great, the plot
wasn’t. It was unrealistic , the plot could have been much more interesting and showed more depth with the same framework. Didn’t bother finishing it.

I wasn’t too happy with the first book, I thought it needed to have the characters develop a little more. Definitely not a fan of the narrator but definitely an improvement all around. Will keep reading the rest of the series

The narrator was rather flat, no personality to the characters. The plot was interesting but not a mazing. Hopefully the characters are better developed in the following books. I didn’t like how the main character was portrayed

I was disappointed, The womens murder club had good characters, but not all were part of the story, no intrigue, no mystery, deathbed confession. its only a third of the book, I didnt even hear the other two, try Elle Gray, amazing plots

At first, it reminded me a bit of the Chamber. Nothing exciting happened with that. then the ending was just there, no explanation how this character decided to become a copy cat killer. the plot needed more work to make it plausible.
