There’s angst and then there is whiny. Liked the story but the female lead got in my nerves. There are also some plot angles that didn’t quite seem to add up. I was able to finish listening so that’s good. I guess it’s true that I would listen to anything Sebastian York narrates!

I love the male Agitator characters but I almost had to stop listening cause the female lead was over the top obnoxious and tried to pass it off as pregnancy hormones. Ughhhh Guess I just can’t relate to batshit crazy female leads that give women a bad name. Teddy Hamilton gave me the strength to finish the audiobook. I still want to hear all the player stories.

I almost didn’t finish the story because the heroine is so annoying and not one I would root for. The story itself had too many holes in it. I have like other books the author has written, just not this one.

You would think that after 9 amazing books in the original series, there would be no way a 3 book prequel would be as good. You would be wrong. I am sad to finish this trilogy, not wanting to say goodbye to these characters. It was great getting the backstory of so many of them I had grown to love, yes love, in the Echoes Saga. I have felt all range of emotions as their lives unfolded, brought to life by the voice of Steven Brand. Thank you Philip C Quaintrell, I love your writing and truly admire your imagination! Now back to revisiting the whole series! It never gets old.
