I generally love Flynn’s writing; however, it does not usually contain such over the top sexual descriptions. Other than that, I liked the story although I prefer her quirky real-life versus the fantasyland.

I always look forward to Flynn’s stories…

A good story that could have been better is the sex had been left out. It is the one thing that was out of place. It moved too fast, at times was jarring and out of place. I don't say this lightly as I'm not a prude or anything but in this story and the way it was done didn't fit.

Overall Summer Roberts did a good job bringing the story to life and has a pleasing voice.

Not what I expected but wasn’t bad. Narrator was okay. Don’t believe I would listen to book 2 if this was a series.

I have really enjoyed most of Avery Flynn’s books but won’t be including this book among them. Sorry

The story could’ve been a great one, but the chemistry had no foundation, so it seemed out of place. The narrator was one dimensional, which didn’t help, when she voiced the sexual content it didn’t fit her tone/voice.
Also, because there was no build up, the sexual content didn’t fit the story. To be fair I only made it through Chapter 5, so maybe it got better?
Avery Flynn is one of my favorite authors and I’ve loved every other book I’ve read of her’s
