Good information, terrible narration.

Hearing “underscore” a few hundred times was not useful and someone could fix it rather easily. Otherwise the information in the book is sound, if brief.

Excellent except for the social justice nonsense
Revisado: 05-23-23
Another excellent installment in the series. Unpredictable and satisfying overall. The singular downside was the social justice preaching. There were several sections of a few minutes each of woke diatribes. I like my books a lot better without the woke garbage.

Good book, good narration overall. The story felt like it took an unreasonable amount of time to get moving, but once it did, I could hardly turn it off.

Fun, but a bit predictable.
Revisado: 06-16-20
Overall a good book, good character development and a fun read. Narration was top quality. My only two complaints were some predictably and a bit of political correctness.

Pretty much everything. Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's.

Good, but getting a little formulaic.
Revisado: 02-22-19
Overall I liked the storyline, and it stayed very true to the characters. My only complaint was that the books seen to get a little formulaic. I do wish there were a little more scientific approach taken to the issues brought up in the time travel arena and to explore the possibilities presented. I would still recommend the book to friends as it's a fun continuation of the story, but I do hope the next book breaks the mold a bit more.

Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Absolutely necessary reading for this generation.
Revisado: 07-26-18
The frighteningly accurate foretelling of our future from more than 50 years ago. The lack of respect for life and for history can lead us nowhere but here. The Constant pandering and tiptoeing to keep everyone happy can result only in the vanilla nothing that is the substance of their lives is this imagined dystopia. I wish I had read this 50 years ago, and I wish more people would read this cautionary tale.

Historia
In a ruined and toxic landscape, a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Sheriff Holston, who has unwaveringly upheld the silo’s rules for years, unexpectedly breaks the greatest taboo of all: He asks to go outside.

Great story, narration wasn't amazing.
Revisado: 08-26-17
Overall it was a great story, great plot. it had some slow points but never got boring. The narration leaves something to be desired as the female narrator struggles to make a convincing male sounding character. The upside is the voice inflection used for each character made them distinct. Overall, I would listen to it again.
